I've almost been given an infraction for conversing in an optimal combo thread, so if you think outright spamming is acceptable, you ought to read the rules. Don't disrespect Kurushii for doing his job, that's just ignorant. On the subject of Cary: If you weren't being sarcastic, don't quit. If you quit, I'd have to rethink why I bother with the game. Fighting against Fonon last night made me so angry, because I lost due to him using overheads as the starter when his previous combo ended. Guess which direction I hold by default? That and Makoto's normals are so good, but at this point I guess that's all she's got going for her. I can't wait to see everyone again, and I think our favorite white person is back as well so he'll be there (some of you will get what i'm talking about). O.o You can't poke with him AT ALL, any random hit beats ignis in most situations, led ley is almost useless (loses to 5B even with Ignis present) and his 5A destroys everything you can possibly do (what 5A doesn't do, 5B will). He does more damage, his mixup is better, and his pressure is just as good as yours (and he doesn't need an assist) and his tools to get out of your pressure are much better than vice versa. SKD doesn't really know the match up yet. Once he does, there will be very, VERY hard times. Relius' mix up is very seeable, and once people start blocking his 6A on reaction, you'll understand why I was so up in arms over his 'instant overhead'. You can poke ignis right after 214A, 2D is backdashable, etc. I can go on and on but you get the idea. As a side note, I've found a true fuzzy with him btw, but it's even more situational than the instant overhead, and is best in the corner.

Bad enough LK makes my 214A look like a toy and my 214B a easy back jump to avoid. I get so much of my damage from AA 2C and throwing people into the corner. 6A so many people aren't punishing. They will take you farther than "knowing combos" ever will. Is actually searching for and finding information really that hard? Things are not going to be fed to you; that's what separates the decent from the great. People have been very merciful on reiterating the same stuff over and over. LK's Gameplay Question thread, advice from top players of your character, watching videos and understanding why people make the decisions they do, and personal sit-downs and real evaluations on one's play are all good ways to level up. There isn't an reason to not get better at the game other than stubbornness and laziness. If you really wanted to become great, you would have already sought the answers your own damned self.

He feels some people just complain and not put any legitimate effort in wanting to advance in their skills, matchup exp, etc. We are all (hopefully) trying to increase our knowledge to better ourselves so we can be able to do well in tournaments. Most of us netplay because the state is so widespread, and some have casuals. As long your realizing what you need to work on and your getting better than by all means do what works for you. Cary, you want to be critiqued and told what specifically are you doing wrong but to some people think it's pathetic for you to be giving all these advice and not see for yourself what you need to do to improve. Yes we all say quit mashing D because you still do it. The reason you win matches because 2D, 4D, Throw starters do about 3-5k and that starts to add after you get hit by two 4Ds. If that's your tactic then by all means your going to get looked at as being a scrub. Don't give you, your in a runt, and you'll figure it out. As the rest of us, we need more participants and stop playing team NAH. That is all.
