From my testing, it was +1. I tested it against 6 and 7 frame normals. 2A after a blocked 2D traded with 6 frames, but I beat 7 frame normals. Could have been some hit box funk in there, but I'd bet on +1.

Hey guys! BBCPE releases on the 23rd in Japan, which is actually the evening of the 22nd our time. Given that, I decided to run a release tournament the following day, to give everyone enough time to download and practice the game a bit. It's been a while since a game released and this is the first time since Super closed that we've got a major update. Anyhow, if you decide to come out, please bring a setup if you can! UGC also runs Street Fighter on Thursdays, so we might have to provide our own setups. Evolution Championship Series 2015 Side Tournaments
Jyosua replied to Jyosua's topic in Majors and Regionals
The GAEMS monitors have 8ms of input delay, which is actually 2ms better than the standard ASUS monitors. However, I think we should probably stick to monitors that have 10ms of input delay, to at least be consistent across setups. There's a small database located here: http://www.displaylag.com/display-database/ What does everyone else think?- 32 replies

And in 1.1, that's only off CH standing opponents and if you autopilot j.D, lol. I saw someone ask Shiita, and he said it wasn't comboable in most situations. It's just a neutral tool, but it's very good (even in this version) for getting people to stay out of a certain area of the screen that you don't want them in.

Hey all, this thread is for the planning of the Evo 2015 side tournaments. We now know that both Xrd and P4AU will be at Evo this year, so some folks from SoCal and NorCal (and maybe more areas) are trying to plan out the details for side tournaments at the moment. However, there are a LOT of games that people want to play and we will absolutely need help providing setups! This year is guaranteed to be one of the biggest Evo tournaments for anime, being the first to feature two Arc System Works games in the main lineup ever. Given this, we expect more people to show up than ever before, which also will likely mean a larger turnout for the yearly side tournaments. Last year was a blast, but it took us an entire day to run Persona and Guilty Gear with the setups we had. Brett was also running Gundam (I don't know how long that took, but maybe he can shed some light on this), and both Numakie and DJ Cream were running other poverty games. From what I saw, everyone involved was at it basically the entire day. Last year's numbers: Persona: 95 Guilty Gear: 107 Aquapazza: 27 Chaos Code: 20 JoJos ASB: 22 Arcana Heart 3: 41 Melty: 50 VSav: 40 That said, we have a handful of people lined up to stream and run the side tournaments, but there are a lot of unknowns at this point. We don't know how big the BYOC area will be, we don't know what days it will be open, and we don't know what days and times Xrd and P4AU will be run. A mod or myself will update this post as we get more concrete details. In the meantime, please participate in the attached poll so we can gauge interest! Edit 1: Added some numbers from last year.

Yeah, I was actually surprised that the P1 values for the rekkas were 0 before, even though I knew they led into a lot of damage. I wonder why they thought that was a good idea?
-
I'll just leave this here: Larger version available here: https://twitter.com/Jyosua/status/557023710905782272 As Hitmarkers reminded me, the combo rate is now 60% from 70%, so keep that in mind when looking at these values. Also keep in mind that there could be errors made by the player than calculated these.

I see, thanks. That requires a DP ender though, and these new routes allow for a safejump ender. Much better, IMO!
-
What route? I haven't messed with that too much, because I don't get CH 5Cs... like ever. lol
-
I watched that recent a-cho vid last night. This character still looks amazing. So, we lost a bit of damage, but seemed to gain safe jump setups off 50 meter routes and more damage off CH 5C (seems to be 5.2k? I don't remember being able to do that much in the current version)... Also with a safe jump. Oh, and if you don't care about the safe jump, you can tack on a moonsmasher at the end for like 1000 damage assuming you're in awakening. His 25 meter rekka routes are now easier, but I'm not sure they're worth it? Command throws also still look good, despite being a little slower. I'm having a hard time noticing any real negatives.

Judging from this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OwoQLVwQtM&feature=youtu.be and also a video I saw from a Sho player... I'm worried that the second hit of j.B may only come out on hit.

So both Hellfromabove and I have taken over running the event since NOS_TALGIC is now living in NorCal. Hellfromabove is a suave guy you've seen running brackets and playing GG at the events in the past and I've been the streamer. As usual, we will make sure this event stays deconflicted with Rebel Up and local major tournaments as much as possible. People who wanted a higher entry fee last time didn't show up. So, we're changing the entry fees to $3 for Evo games and UNIEL. Finally, we could use some people commentating! This especially helps if you are able to click a few buttons to update the match scores when I have to go play a match and overall helps things run smoother. If you don't see anybody commentating, please feel free to jump on! Venue Fee $7 Main Games Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- (PS3) - $3 Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R (PS3) - $1 BlazBlue: Chronophantasma (PS3) - $1 Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3) - $3 Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late (PS3) - $3 Mystery Game (?) - Not being run this time. VSav (UD CPS2 or PS3) - TBA Skullgirls Encore (PS3) - TBA Side Tournaments TBA Tournament Schedule 2PM - Casuals 4PM - BBCP/P4AU 6PM - GG+R 7PM - UNIEL 9PM - Xrd Streams ASW Games: twitch.tv/Jyosua All Other Games: twitch.tv/UGClive Stream Schedule (Jyosua) 4PM - P4AU (Possible break for Top 4 BB, if things run smoothly) 6PM - GG+R 7PM - UNIEL 9PM - Xrd Stream Schedule (UGC) N/A Payouts 70/20/10 - Only for tournaments with an entry fee greater than $1. Brackets UGC Challonge Setups There are a decent number of monitors available, but bringing PS3s with the games (UNIEL, Xrd, BBCP, P4AU, etc.) is needed. Still bring monitors, though, if you are able! Venue 8551 Vesper Ave Los Angeles, CA 91402 Neighborhood: Panorama City Ph: (818) 825-0054 URL: ugcgamer.com

Maybe it does have something to do with the height, then?
