He's told me his drives are punishable, but any time I've played him I get hit if I throw out a 5C after a blocked 2D. Perhaps that's due to lag? I end up just mashing 2A to make up for it.

Try a 5A/5B when he's starting the 2D or if your 2C has upper invul use it. I made Cary scared to use 2D against me cause I can 2C Fatal it into 6k midscreen easy with Relius.

Lucien Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Jin's 2D is +1 or 2 on block, I forget. You're not really at a disadvantage until someone IB's it. If you were doing a blockstring as Jin (which I'm assuming is the char you're referring to), you'd be better off continuing pressure with: d.2A/5A, 5B > stuff, stuff > TK ice blade, etc. Make people respect your 2D, especially since it takes a primer now. I just spilled all dem Jin trade secrets

XD On that note, I really need to figure out a way to tie my strings together better. I have no real fluidity right now and keep leaving gaps or coming to a point where I don't know what to do next.

I've been doing a bit of training and can pull off some decent Relius combos. I'll be gone until about 6 tomorrow, though, so I won't be able to get to any fight requests until then. I can't join in on those groups you guys have apparently every night, so this is the best I'm getting.

I'm sure Fonon and I aren't the only ones just getting into the game, and it might be worth doing something like this. I mean, it's cool and all to join Kuru's room and be dominated by Lord Knight all the time, but it might be valuable to get a bunch of scrubs together to practice and maybe have better players critique.

I just started working on a new character sub while I wait my turn on my stream (make use of my Vita), so ill be glad to join on it if im home when you do it.
