Was watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yvFNEWWVIU&feature=grec_index

Will try to find the spot again (20 min video), it looks like a Sol intercepts a Dizzy fish in the air with VV, see the green flash of FDC then lands into an attack.

There are a few clips from an older GG game (GGXX I think) where characters run lock-down in the corner and you see repeated green flashes.

I know Faust and I-No have movement uses and Chipp can perform an airdash -> 2j.K -> FDC -> j.HS crossup, but it looks like there is more potential in this technique.

If any move can be FDC'd, then you should be able to run in and do 5K -> 5S -> 5HS -> 5D(FDC) -> 66 .. etc

Has anyone experimented with this / done frame advantage or infinite tests?

The infinite combo normal FDC was already removed in GGX extra, if I'm not wrong.

Still, there is some particolat cases, like the j2K cancel with Faust

I think it's because VV clashed with Dizzy's attack. You can cancel clash into any attack and FD. It's probably mentioned in the system guide...

That's for canceling dash break recovery frame in anticipation of mashing out, or breaking dash to grab (run>fd>grab) some character need this technique for tick throw since their dash break recovery frame is very long (eg: Axl).

I didn't play xx... and my memory just go as far as reload, and i'm certain u can't cancel any normal/special with fd, on Impossible dust case you do double jump>fd really fast so it may look likes canceling normal with fd ... but no u can't

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Sounds like I'm not missing out on some crazy technique. Thanks for pointing out the clashes and the FD brake.

I wonder what determines if moves can be FDC or not.. Faust j.2K Chipp j.2K and I've heard I-no has one too (I'm guessing an air move as well).

When I get a chance to play GG again I'll see if I can pull off a normal FDC.
