I HAVE NEVER LOVED AND HATED LIFE AT THE SAME TIME AAAAAAAAAAAAA

This is surprisingly not completely trash like every L.A. english vocal version of Ishiwatari's work.

I have your tea, sir~ :>

I need something nice and uplifting. Bad news is forcing me into an even deeper depression.

Shoutouts to watching high level match videos of your character and then being massively disappointed in yourself when you play later.

Just do what they do then. See how it works.

It's my execution or lack thereof that's depressing.

Also having not completely analyzed them, it's a bit difficult to apply things to my matches.

You can't just see something and then do it in a match unless you are really comfortable with your character. I mean, to the point that you can hit confirm a combo off of mashing tech comfortable!

Well I mean, when you see them do something, and it works, try to understand why it works, and then apply it.

Unless your talking about combos, in which case, just grind training mode.

But I haven't practiced anything lately anyway, too busy playing Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side (as well as replaying Clannad and Ef since I lost my memory for those).

WHY IS THE PARAMETER INCREASING ENTIRELY LUCK BASED? FUCKING HOROSCOPE SAID THIS WEEK WOULD BE GOOD FOR STUDYING. THEN SHE SLEEPS WHEN I TELL HER TO STUDY. WHY.

Why is this game fun.

Del learning that it takes more than combos to be good.

In CS2 while fighting 50/50 with Ragna I did a 1F link that I never practiced.

I lol'd.

I think Unsanct meant consistently. I mean, we've all done 1f links with Ragna here and there and I never trained with him.

Little does Axis realize he did practice that 1f link.

I see through you.

I do heroic things with Bang all the time and I don't practice him.

I only practice BK and normal BnB's with Ragna...

Always knew that, which is why I avoided practicing combos for the longest time Skye.

That makes no sense.

In order to get better at spacing, oki, hit confirms, adaptation and footsies, you refrained from practicing combos...

:psyduck:

Not so much hitconfirms and oki, but yeah, I tried to get better at spacing, footsies, and neutral in general by playing matches rather than grinding the same combos over and over.

Which is why I never really bothered to learn Cresent Loop in CS1, just went with easy combos.

Learning combos help build one very important thing: Execution.

Yeah it helps for combos, but it also applies to everything else as well.

Also, practicing combos also helps with hitconfirming, or else how would you know what to hitconfirm into?

Like sometimes when I sit in training mode I'll ask myself "What can I get off of 2A crouching?" obviously the best combo is 2A > 5C > 3C > stuff, but that is rare on it's own, so I'll as myself "What can I get off of 2A crouching if I throw in a bunch of bullshit?" so I do 2A > 2A > 2B > 2C > 3C, which is plenty of time to confirm they are crouching.

Knowing your optimal combo for any given situation is just as important to being good as having good footsies.

Next time there's a BB station open with not enough sticks for VS, you're grinding training mode Dev.

No sleeping.

I'll get some sleep this week, I swear~ >:

Actually, even though I don't have Extend I worked on defense+throw teching, so far it's going pretty good~
