4r5 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Ian, c.S>j.HS is air tight. Do c.S>2D for mixup, though the c.S>2D isn't airtight, but it's alright cause Steve H can't DP that. c.S is also plus frames, right? You can just do c.S with no followup if you wanna tick throw or some other bait.
Sesshyru Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 muhhhhh.. k... It looked coo in the traning mode.. $/
Tsak Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Blockstringing with air moves isn't generally a good idea for HOS. this your better off going for fuzzy guard oki if you want to mess with air moves for HOS i keep my blockstrings short and sweet using a fair amount of charge cancels

Sesshyru Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I know it. I use it. Just messing around with more.
Hintalove Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 If you're worried about your opponent dping inbetween 5k and jp, why aren't you worried about them dping your 5k?????? I know I've probably said this a billion times, but you really should do relatively reversal safe oki like 75% of the time. That means meaty safe jump/fuzzy guard(after they stop dping), GB oki, what ever. Once they are trying to read you then you can exploit them. As for quitting hos.... I burned my bridges when I dropped Jam for him I guess. I still scrub people out with my slayer from time to time though.
Sesshyru Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 *Throws a paper ball at Potemkin* Screw that guy. I feel more comfortable in a match vs Johnny or Anji than Pot... Edit: Jumping slash and Hard Slash.... Humm....
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Huh? Oh yeah, thanks. Maybe I should check in here more often. :D
Nakkiel Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I heard Woki played some of you guys at SB :P
Sesshyru Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Awww man those were some good games at SB. Learned a lot. We was lie 4 deep in the HOS corner after the tournip; IN THE LAB. Woulda been complete if LM_Akira and MissedFRC had mystically appeared. I dunno who this sG guy is though - dunno if I like him. grr. Edit: Who does Woki play?
Sesshyru Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Wait? Was he the Dizzy player? Messed me up yo. I blocked all of his corner pressure + mixups only to land a gunblaze then be completely mind screwed as how to combo dizzy, drop it, then get blown up. It was all for me. No Dizzys in Maryland, DC or VA.
4r5 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 No Dizzys in Maryland, DC or VA. You came too late :<
Nakkiel Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Yeah he's the Dizzy player. Was using either Kazuki color or pink. I wish I could have shown up but I'm broke Dizzy's mad easy to combo, should've just down a normal combo lol
Sophisticat Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I dunno about you guys, but I'm finding +R HOS mad cool. He seems to have more enders than just SV after an air combo and multiple Lv.X specials from longer gauge depletion just upped his style points by a ton. I can't tell if his range got better, but just his improved gauge probably ups his whole game.

Have you been able to play this?:O I've only seen one matchvid and I wasn't able to gauge whether OS got stronger or weaker. For those that wonder about the sweep range, it seems unchanged to me, however OS might slide forward a little less.
Sophisticat Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Oh no, lol. I was just making a general statement about the 4-5 vids I've seen him in. Wish I lived in Japan, though. I'm really angling to get my mits on +R HOS.
ADS627 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 http://www.twitch.tv/joniosan/b/333010998 @ 2:34:10 whole lotta order-sol. first match had 2D > lv2 BHB[ac] wallstick. wallsticks long enough for AC and can still combo. then theres these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nX3pyKRqgI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgiZGhPYLxI
WolfCrimson Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Just saw something weird: In that archived stream video ADS627 linked, in that match vs Bridget at 2:55:00, HOS did 2D, Bridget touched the ground, and then HOS did lv3 Savage Fang and it did alot of damage, i.e., OTG proration didn't affect it or something. Can someone please check, so that I can be sure that my eyes did not deceive me?
reaVer Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Alright, I guess I've seen them all, let me test some stuff and I will compile the changes I saw.
Kaizen Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Lvl 3 Savage Fang was confirmed to OTG from the official changelist released for the 2nd Loketest. It likely still applies.
