So apparently a new place called Ultimate Gaming Spot is running weekly ranbats including P4U. Is there any interest at all? I wanna go maybe next week but I don't wanna be stuck there by myself with people only playing TTT2 or something

well, that place is deep within "da hood" so I dont want to go there and leave when the sun is about to set (5 minutes after I get there :P)

it's face-to-face

however, most of them dont play blazblue, but for some reason find P4U much better (blah)

there is a kanji player that i played, and a naoto as well as Yu

I dont think there are any other characters (forgot teddie). At UGS they play a lot of tekken tag and marvel, but if you play P4U im sure you'll attract some attention

of you can wait until may 10th ill be back in boston and would love to spar in either anime fighter (i dont dislike P4U, but the fact that it outclasses bb made me disappointed)

Im goin back to school too. i dont understand why BBCP didnt just come out during summer like most BB games. so dissapointed. we dont hav to plan it. we could just meet on unbusy days. like weekends. I dont wanna wait till 2014 when the game comes out ima be in my 2 to 3 term. We been waiting for this game forever too -_-"...

just in case anybody was curious......

Brain box closed at the end of last year because of financing troubles

Ultimate game spot also closed (I don't know why but probably the same reason Brain Box closed)

the only other option would be this place https://www.facebook.com/GameUnderground. yes, it is not Boston, but it's a 40 minute drive. You can also take the commuter rail there if you don't have a car

sad sad year for Boston events, but the turnouts weren't big enough

what a convenient time for this thread to pop up, actually, because a couple of fellows recently started fight nights smack in harvard square!

"game over", i think it's called? it's at tommy doyle's. every tuesday at ~6/7-12pm ish

mostly capcom heads, but people have been showing up for gg+r, among other niche games. i dunno if anyone is fucking with bb but i'm sure interest will renew when bbcp import drops?

fair warning though, not for the claustrophobic

But their run time is every Tuesday Night 8-12

I won't be back in Boston until december anyway ;_; but hopefully another venue comes up

If that happens I'm going to force at least 1 anime fighter into the main line. The fact that KOF was added to brainbox was great, and gg side tourney had more participants

Unfortunately bb had like 4 but what ev. Tell your friends, freinds friends about bb. I know P4U will be easy to gather attention because it isn't difficult to jump into
