BladeOfJustice7 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Why do people have this strong urge to press buttons at all costs even when they're waking online even when I punish it every time. It's like there's a bomb strapped to their fingers and it'll explode if they stop pushing buttons incessantly.

I know for a fact that they enjoy having callused fingers.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 More wins for you? I have no problem winning, the question is why are they allowing me to punish them so much? Why not just wakeup and block>punish, then mash grab/super/dps/jabs and eat an fc/counter>burst baited>lose>mash the a button to end hakumens victory quote? Wow didn't think you were on here. More like addiction to cocaine than bombstrap. I know for a fact that they enjoy having callused fingers. I think you're onto something...
Zeron_X25 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I think you're onto something... I've studied the netplay mentality.

Because it's net play, their usual mindset tends to be your 2A < w/e they pressed I pretend rising fangs are safe once in awhile =/
BladeOfJustice7 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Because it's net play, their usual mindset tends to be your 2A < w/e they pressed I pretend rising fangs are safe once in awhile =/ Yea I know sometimes you hit buttons, but you do it intelligently, but others just feel like blocking on wakeup is your worst option. I had someone do wakeup jayoku, I was like "what's wrong with wakeup and 4/1 inputs?". Wakeup grabs is somewhat understandable online, but not ALL the time lol. I'm curious to hear what zeron has learned about the netplayer mentality lol.

I'm curious to hear what zeron has learned about the netplayer mentality lol. Because the average netplayer believes that blocking is a sign of fear and submitting to the will of the enemy. They would rather take Hakumen's 4C up the ass then let him get a non CH 6B on them. This pride cult is especially strong among the weaboos who think they're samurais. The only way to beat the mash mentality is to become the master of the mashers. When they recognize that you control their every move, including their mash, they eventually stop barking. (This theory is only mildly accurate for players that don't use Noel. Noel players are beyond redemption and must be put down as soon as possible)
BladeOfJustice7 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 lmao, I would sig this entire thing. And it's funny I use 6b as an oki tool more than I do offline.
Zeromus_X Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 GGs Nemesis, thunderbolt, and whoever else I played on my friend's XBox. XBL is pretty wasteland, but the connections seem better than PSN.
Nemesis Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) GGs to the tons of players that shuffled through my room Zeromus running into you was quite surprising it's refreshing to see another high skill mu I was all like : " who is this scrub mu, I'll go easy on him" lol @ first round When you beat my ragna then gold bursted I seriously laughed hard I was rly entertained to someone so competitive like myself Edited July 1, 2012 by Nemesis
Sneakman Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 GGs Nemesis, thunderbolt, and whoever else I played on my friend's XBox. XBL is pretty wasteland, but the connections seem better than PSN. Hold the phone...what's your friends XBL name?
Sneakman Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 It was like chu... Something low lvl like under 10 Crap, thought I saw him, just fought a pretty good Mu. Oh well.
Zeromus_X Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 It was "Chumaralupa". I need to find a cheap used 360 soon so I can rejoin XBL community. ... Lol yeah that was pretty funny. Airthrow xN and Gold Bursting through that other Ragna's wakeup DP was hilarious. I was actually having a really hard time against your Jin though. Most Jins don't really do stuff, so I was autopiloting pretty hard at neutral and getting blown up. Mu mirrors were fun, no matter how derp they can be, it's fun seeing what other setups different Mu players like to use.

Yea I recorded a number of our matches... theres a few things you did that I think I can add to myself -- most notably your double bomb combos like from what I saw you mentioned on the mu boards So is this gonna be a regular thing? Edit: your main colors are my second favorite
Goldchampion200 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Gonna start up a lobby anyone is welcome to join.
BeaverDeity Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 GGs to Leonil, Deadliest and everyone else I played today. :/ Sorry for the mediocre playing. Been in a bit of a slump for a while.
Zeromus_X Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 ... This was pretty much a one-time thing, but I am serious about getting my own 360 eventually. And double bomb combos are sweet.
