Ayashii Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Good games to Eevee, Chickzama, neji, Testicle, Subby, thanks for calming me down when I was stressed guys.
mAc Chaos Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Haha sorry, if i have 75 heat, i will D DP unfortunately. Really? I don't see that many usually.
abadlime Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Lol a lot of times when you were doing pressure, I'd be blocking, then get tagged by a delayed 2B after a 5B or something. It was just weird because I wasn't really doing anything, but I guess that's what I get for trying to IB .-. Ah ok. It might have been delayed because i already threw in a 2b so i had to restart pressure with another 2b. I like doing that due to Tsubaki. Really? I don't see that many usually. But you play hakumen. D DP usually gets caught by counters.
mAc Chaos Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 But you play hakumen. D DP usually gets caught by counters. Damn. The whole time I posted I was thinking "I hope he starts doing them now so I can surprise him with counters BAHAHAHAHA".
Kuraudo_V6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 This is gonna sound like a really scrubby question, but is there any way I can find specific rooms by name? Or do I have to be invited? Because if Chickzama's got a room open still I'd like to join or I can make one of my own and people can join in on that one.
mAc Chaos Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The bottom of the screen says the host's name usually when you have a room selected in the search.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 It seems that people these days associate "scrubs" and "scrubbiness" to not knowing something. And the real definition of a scrub has been forgotten.
Kuraudo_V6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I'd prefer to think of it as "scrub" coming in many different forms. Thanks for the heads up, Mac!
Fujiwara Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I learned that the true definition of scrub was someone who talked shit and overestimated their own abilities.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 A scrub is a "noob" who refuses to learn/improve in said fighter and would rather resort to incessantly mash any and all buttons in every direction in order to win. Doing so makes them look like their "scrubbing" the arcade/remote they're playing on, hence the word "scrub". For scrubbing the cabinet by mashing everything. When you ask a question about something you don't know, regardless of how "noobish" it is, it does not make you a scrub. If you didn't ask and didn't want to know, that's being "scrubby".
mAc Chaos Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 A scrub is someone who has a bad attitude and refuses to learn, not someone who is new. Somebody could be playing for 10 years and still be a scrub. It's just that instead of dealing with legit tactics they'll call throws cheap and rage about things being OP. Because they refuse to take accountability for their mistakes, they never examine them and improve.

Kuraudo_V6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I'm taking a break to read manga, but I'll be back on in a little bit. That's okay, I got a room with goldchampion, A Random Nail, Ratakof and some other random people on occassion. Take your time! I'll hop on whenever you make a room later maybe. :D

Kuraudo_V6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 So what would you call a person who is good (or at least decent) but thinks they are a scrub??? .... a modest person?
Chickzama Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 So what would you call a person who is good (or at least decent) but thinks they are a scrub??? Eevee. Staph.
mAc Chaos Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I thought scrub just meant mac :| :st1ckbug:
Ayashii Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 So what would you call a person who is good (or at least decent) but thinks they are a scrub??? a modest dick that needs to accept his superiority among most netplayers on the console he plays
Chickzama Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 a modest dick that needs to accept his superiority among most netplayers on the console he plays You are now obligated to put this in your sig Eevee. Logging online~
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 So what would you call a person who is good (or at least decent) but thinks they are a scrub??? We are all prone to call ourselves scrubs because we're "never good enough" by our own high standards. And that person isn't a scrub since he is trying to improve and isn't incessantly mashing buttons. If anything the word we/re looking for is "lack of confidence" in this case.
Kuraudo_V6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Is it weird of me to read Blade's posts in Hakumen's voice?
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Is it weird of me to read Blade's posts in Hakumen's voice? nah, i'm reading your post in ragnas voice
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 It must have to do with me trying to be smart lol
