Lol a lot of times when you were doing pressure, I'd be blocking, then get tagged by a delayed 2B after a 5B or something. It was just weird because I wasn't really doing anything, but I guess that's what I get for trying to IB .-.

Ah ok. It might have been delayed because i already threw in a 2b so i had to restart pressure with another 2b. I like doing that due to Tsubaki.

Really? I don't see that many usually.

But you play hakumen. D DP usually gets caught by counters.

Damn. The whole time I posted I was thinking "I hope he starts doing them now so I can surprise him with counters BAHAHAHAHA".

This is gonna sound like a really scrubby question, but is there any way I can find specific rooms by name? Or do I have to be invited? Because if Chickzama's got a room open still I'd like to join or I can make one of my own and people can join in on that one.

I learned that the true definition of scrub was someone who talked shit and overestimated their own abilities.

A scrub is a "noob" who refuses to learn/improve in said fighter and would rather resort to incessantly mash any and all buttons in every direction in order to win. Doing so makes them look like their "scrubbing" the arcade/remote they're playing on, hence the word "scrub". For scrubbing the cabinet by mashing everything.

When you ask a question about something you don't know, regardless of how "noobish" it is, it does not make you a scrub. If you didn't ask and didn't want to know, that's being "scrubby".

A scrub is someone who has a bad attitude and refuses to learn, not someone who is new. Somebody could be playing for 10 years and still be a scrub. It's just that instead of dealing with legit tactics they'll call throws cheap and rage about things being OP. Because they refuse to take accountability for their mistakes, they never examine them and improve.

I'm taking a break to read manga, but I'll be back on in a little bit.

So what would you call a person who is good (or at least decent) but thinks they are a scrub???

We are all prone to call ourselves scrubs because we're "never good enough" by our own high standards. And that person isn't a scrub since he is trying to improve and isn't incessantly mashing buttons. If anything the word we/re looking for is "lack of confidence" in this case.
