I do think it will die, though, after P4U is released and GG comes to XBL arcades and what not. I feel bad that I am one of those people. But I should be playing on XBL a lot more once I finish HDN.

I don't know about the rest of the US but typically between 7PM-10PM PST(I think that's the timetable on west coast, not sure) I can typically find a few people to join my room within a few minutes of me making one. They're mostly people on the western US and/or people in Hawaii, but they're fairly active around that time.

Having both consoles and played them both online with the same ethernet cable (not simultaneously of course), I can say with confidence, that XBL is still better. PSN is inconsistent at best.

In fact, we really need to be hyping this shit up somehow and get some ps3 players to cross over here. Like, seriously, Skye, if you can, show as many michigan players as possible how much better the netcode is on xbox! SO maybe they'll follow through. Our plan should be, if we can get some ps3 players over here, more ps3 players will follow, until a cycle occurs! Who knows, maybe one day ps3 players will be bitching about how no ones online over there. =p

PSN is inconsistent at best. As someone who is speaking who has REALLY good internet, I've never had so many issues with BB on XBL up until Extend. PSN seems to run smoother than XBL from my experience. When I was fighting Tsunna the other day, I was having some input delay in our matches more so than ever. I've played him in CS2 from my new place and we were just fine but now, the delay feels a bit worse (outside of net-delay). That would probably be why most people are just leaning toward PSN because though it may have it's inconsistent moments (which aren't that many), it's connections are solid this time around compared to what the 360 is offering and PSN is free so it makes me rage that I have an XBL account and I have not so good connections for something I'm paying for than something that's free. Hellknight and I were talking and since I have an XBox, and I have LIVE for another 3 months, I was thinking of running a netplay tournament (similar to the ones Hellknight hosts on PSN) next week Friday to bring some life back onto the XBL side. I'll admit, I may not like the netcode but XBL has some REALLY strong players that are dropping out of the game due to lack of competition on netplay. If you're down with this, I'll host it next Friday: Show up, get people to enter, encourage the push for XBL and let it be known, I'll post up the information for the tournament later today or tomorrow afternoon.
