WOW O_O the new blazblue trailer was pretty cool. And it seems that Tsubaki will have the dark color set, lets just hope they give her her original color palette as an alternate color. Also where the heck is Nu ( orther number)?

Bullet is nothing like Makoto, it is also confirmed that Bullet is a grappler. She has 360's 720's and even a 1080 move

Murukumo's are not in the game, due to story. I'm sure they will have them in there for console release or DLC though.

That trailer gave me the tingles, though I was hoping for playable Jubei. I like the Noel redraw as well.

BB is spicing things up.

Overdrive mode, No primers, and the character changes are ridiculous. This is a new game, no doubt about that, I just find it funny that people are calling Overdrive Mode the X-Factor of BB, though I can see the similarities.

Bleh, sorry for being MIA again lol. Recently I've been working on getting my license so I can widen the radius that I'm allowed to travel out to. I have to finish my last two days of traffic this week and hopefully I'll have my license by friday.

Glad to hear you're alive LOL! We've been running things quite smoothly for a good minute too. This is what's going down this month:

On August 11th, Nickel City is having it's first Official P4U casuals, usual start time of 7:30PM.

We've got a tournament happening on the 18th, Heart Nana is hosting a tournament with P4U as the main event. I know you're trying to finish driving school so if you can't come out to Nickel City on the 18th, I understand but it would be cool to play you again.

BB will be played (that is if you have interest in the game anymore) and so will everything else. If you can show up tp either of these events, that would be cool.

Not gonna lie, I have been on a huge hiatus from BB the last couple months. CP kinda renewed my interest though, and P4 casuals sounds good as I want to demo the game before I buy it.

Traffic school ends friday, and I don't start school until the 27th, so you can expect to see me at both of these events.

Hey guys I'm Mikey! I'm new to these forums and actually got referred here by somebody in a stream. I used to live in southern Illinois and was involved with a small but dedicated smash scene there ( Melee and brawl ). But I moved awhile back and haven't been involved in any kind of fighting scene since. With the release of Persona 4 arena i'm really looking to level up my game and get involved with some local bouts.

Welcome Mikey, always glad to see another face to join the community. The first post covers where our meet ups happen and on the 11th and the 18th, we're having 2 big events:

Aug 11: First Official Persona Casuals

Aug 18: First Chicago Persona Tournament. HeartNana is hosting this.

Both are taking place @ Nickel City in Northbrook so if you can make it out, do so. We're trying to make our small community grow as large as it can.

@Lucien: I will remember to hit you up with Text, and I'm glad to hear you'll be able to make it out to the events. Can't wait to see you there man.

Shin my brother was able to test the TE and he said it was currently fine. It's been a while since I've used it so once I get home I'll test it out myself and see if everything really is fine. It might of just been the wires getting tangled with the JLF. Hopefully if that's the case I'll just move things around inside and I'll be able to lend it to you.

Just got home, and did a test run on the TE. Works fine from what I could tell. I ran some Lightning loops with Zero and obnoxious Dante combos with no problem. You want me to just bring it to NC on Sat, or did you want to pick it up and do a session sometime before then?

I did, most of them already had Michigan Masters and a few of them are going to Summer Jam so most of them if not all are coming. I talked to a buddy of mine who might show but time will tell.

BTW, I have my copy of P4U, just can't play it until 11PM tonight due to classes

@Sen: I'm gonna have to get it from you on Saturday @ Nickel City because my week is full of things to do for school.

EDIT: Just found out there are a few who are interested in going. Gonna see who is interested and try to set up arrangements for these guys. If I get paid before the tournament, these guys will be rooming @ my house, if not they may need accomidations if they can come down here.

Wow today was a great day! Got Persona 4 today, saw one of my elementary school teachers (didnt recognize her, but she recognized me and knew my name...creepy), and got the second season to Darker than Black in the mail today. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
