Chazmobile Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Chaz. Bang forums and America are too slow so I need help. Does Bang Command grab have good priority or some "Bonus" in the air? It seems like it's my main AA against shitty jump ins, yet yesterday my friend playing Platinum IAD'd in with j.C yet I TK'd the grab and it beat it clean? It seems like it's really hit and miss. On the ground its range and speed gimp it so much, especially with the nerf to the RC follow-up. But in the air it gives no fucks and grabs ZA WARUDO. Got any clarification or owt pal? I actually have no idea seeing as i use it sparingly if at all for that purpose, but I know what you mean. That shit looks so fly when it happens, just like airdashing on a Rachel wind teching and air command grabbing her out of the wind tech >=) If you want a set of good, reliable anti-airs for shitty jump-ins (well for Bang anyway) may I recommend 5b, 5a (in certain situations) and rising J.a. Seriously, take a look at all his air normals, they're disjointed as fuck, 5b is pretty stupid too.

I'll try rising j.A, thanks. And yeah, I've spent the past 10 minutes looking at Bangs hitboxes and Ashura makes me laugh everytime. Such a godlike Super.

LuminAbyss Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION YUKI. Grabs usually beat slower air normals. They're seven frames. Bang's command grab is seven frames too. I get thrown out of Ragna's j.C all the time. It's horrible.

Until I then go into several rooms and lose every time even though I feel like my opponent isn't good enough to the point that I shouldn't win any games and then I despair.
