Dont_Explain Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I mean sometimes JP voices sound more fitting, but I couldn't play a game like P4 in JP. You couldn't laugh at the jokes the same way if you just read the dialog boxes. That's just me. I need to play that game at some point anyways.

But honestly, it's no reason not to buy it, just mute the sound if you really care...

Oh no I rather have English. I only use JP in BB cause I'm done with the story and I think Ragna sounds cooler in JP. He sounds cool in English too, but I guess I have to admit there is a bit of weeaboo in me too.

Rags/Tsubaki/Jin/Arakune I prefer in there Japanese voice. lol I'm not some anti-Japanese person, I admit, listening to some character in JP are a better job then the English version. It's just the anti-English dub people who make me angry >.< Like they despise everything English. Plat's Japanese is so distracting, I swear, lol

Kujikawa Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Tager is just enough of a reason to switch back to English. I like Tsubaki's and Ragna's because I like their voice actors from previous works. No offense to there English counterparts, cuz' Rag's English voice actor is pretty darn good. Jin and Arakune because the Japanese generally pull off good crazy psycho voices better then we do, IMO. Carl is meant to be a whiny bitch - it fits his personality. But I agree, it is annoying lol

Chie sounded fine, Yosuke didn't sound 80 years old at all to me and Rise was fine too (dat Rie Kugimiya). I haven't heard ENG Teddie but I can't imagine it being as fitting as the JP version. P3's dub is great tho and I haven't really heard any of the P4 dub. Baccano! still has the best dub of all time anyway. That and s-CRY-ed. In terms of BB tho, I really can't get enough of JP Hazama. So good. Plus Sugita as Ragna is great and Imai does a great job with Tsubaki. Jin's voice is good too 'cause I just in general can't get enough of Kakihara's voicework. I think for the most part, BB has a good voice track no matter which language you set it to.
