YukiBlue Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Dragons Dogma has to be the most legit game I've played for ages. It has a lot of flaws but the game itself is simply amazing, you can tell that this branch of Capcom hasn't turned to complete shit yet. Just had a fight with some big Ogre in the middle of a forest for a good 15 minutes. He was pretty much stronger than me and 2 of my Pawns so I pretty much killed it with bug bites. But when I climbed onto it's back and worked my way towards its head. I crawled onto it's face and it actually couldn't see! He was roaring and swinging wildy, So eventually it raised it's hand and punched me off pretty hard, but me being me, I went to the exact same spot on his face, he raised his hand, swung his first, and I jumped off, he punch himself in the face and knocked himself down so it was easy pickings for me. God damn this game is so good.

Kujikawa Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) Dragons Dogma. Yeah, it's a pretty good game. The Survival Horror elements implemented into the game is what gives me a hard on. Apart from it's varied gameplay, it doesn't really shine anywhere else with average character design and plot. This is pretty much Capcom's take on a Demon/Dark Souls game. It's for the hardcore RPGer's out there, casual gamers may not like it due to it's flaws and difficulty, but fuck them pussys. Though I believe From Software did a better job, this game still fits any RPGer's needs, much better then some of the crap on Gamestation's shelves today. I rate it an 8/10. But then again, I have not played the full game, but I have watched a full Let's Play of it as well as trialed the demo a few times. Probably pick it up when it's cheap. (I MEAN RESIDENT EVIL 6 BETA THINGY IS WITH IT OMG). But it was Hexanoid who took me down, so sad~ Also despite my name I don't main Rachel so it probably wasn't me you saw, actually main Hazama...I made this tag cause Rachel just was my favourate design wise until Makoto won me over so now I'm stuck with this, she's still great though

I think everyone has a soft spot for Makoto. Even when she was broken, everyone still loved her - unlike Noel.
DlanorRachel Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Relius is definitly up there on characters I wish I could play, I've really got to get better with Hazama though, atleast to the point where I'm not doing dumb stuff constantly, trust me it may not seem like it but I'm taking advice and what the commentators say to heart and trying to iron things out
DlanorRachel Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I think my soft spot for Makoto comes from A: She's hot....a-and B: Boxer type character, just love them, my main in SSF4 is Dudley too (And well T Hawk) Rachel seems difficult for my style but if I get my Hazama to a satisfactory level...and then Makoto...maybe I'll try her out more

We should come up with a cool team name next time, if there is a next time, ha. Hope it helped. Looking back on the matches they weren't that bad. At least I have matches to look back on and analyse.

I always use xbox.com to type my messages. I'd go crazy if I had to use my pad all the time.
