InWithTheAshes Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Macross Frontier. As elitist fanboy as this sounds, I honestly refuse to watch the films simply because they're a retelling of the series which isn't exactly like the series. Although, to me, things as awesome as Macross Frontier never end. Ever. IT SHALL ALWAYS LIVE ON IN MY SOUL. Fuck I love Macross Frontier.
Kujikawa Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) 7 hours straight of Bioshock Infinite makes me wonder why I'm not some fat slob... Meh, the saddest anime I saw was Chrono Crusade. It was one of my first animes (That I went out of my to watch as a teenager and that it wasn't on TV). I got that feeling you get when something ends. It feels like you can't be assed to do anything and you feel really dead. I got it from Crisis Core (Didn't play FF7 beforehand) too. I never felt that way from Toradora though, mainly cuz' Tsundere sucks monkey balls. Edited March 28, 2013 by Kujikawa
YukiBlue Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Well. I'm just going to leave this here. Clannad.
InWithTheAshes Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Wait shit, we were talking specifically about sad anime's? Well, within that case... Yup, I'm gonna go with Clannad. I still like Macross Frontier more though. Edited March 28, 2013 by InWithTheAshes
gamester Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Next step is to watch Kaiji if you haven't already seen it I watched both seasons of Kaiji before I was recommended round to Akagi, Kaiji was a also great shows to watch

Kriegdrache Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Well. I'm just going to leave this here. Clannad. Forced drama: the animu but I still cry everytime lyk dis if u do 2 ;_;
Fistmaster049 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 haven't seen Clannad ._. ....does that make me a bad person?
Daedron Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 So my Hauppauge HD PVR started blinking a blue light last night while I was sleeping. I turned it off obviously. Now trying to get my Wii U to work, nothing shows up on my TV. Try the PS3, nothing shows up again. PC doesn't recognize it. It seems to be dead.
Daedron Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Durr. Probably the "Game Edition" of the Hauppauge or w/e it's called. I would get a black magic intensity but I don't like internal cards and the USB one requires USB3.0 which I don't have.
Shruikon Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I watched both seasons of Kaiji before I was recommended round to Akagi, Kaiji was a also great shows to watch You could try One Outs then. It's a similar gambling style genre to Kaiji and Akagi and the guy who voices both Kaiji and Akagi also voices the main character of One Outs.

Daedron Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I already have all the cables I need lol. Well, if it's the exact same thing then that's good. I had no problems with it while it was still alive.

Daedron Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 You mean this one right? http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr2-gaming.html Cause that's what I meant by Gaming Edition XD I don't have HDMI for my PS3 or X360 though, but I can still use component I think?

I'll be sure to add it to my Plan to Watch list and check it out when I can, thanks for the recommendation there
Kujikawa Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 haven't seen Clannad ._. ....does that make me a bad person? Nah Clannad is alright, if your into that cliche anime romance stuff. Clannad After Story is a terrible anime, but for some reason everyone thinks its great cuz' its sad.
Darret_Wallace Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Hey gamester, you should watch legendary gambler Tetsuya, or gambling legend Tetsuya, i forget which.
Kujikawa Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Hey gamester, you should watch legendary gambler Tetsuya, or gambling legend Tetsuya, i forget which. Its Legendary Gambler Tetsuya, or Shoubushi Densetsu Tetsuya if you want it in JP. If you like Mahjong animes whatever you do please do not fall for the trap and watch SAKI. Don't do it. Just don't. It's a prime example as why 90% of recent anime is shite.
Fistmaster049 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE Persona 4 arena is gonna be at Hypespotting! freaking sweet
