geckotide Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I do not get P4U at all, which is a shame because aesthetically it's great. Also, how in the seven fucks did I accumulate 9.1k pageviews when I never use this thing?

Also, how in the seven fucks did I accumulate 9.1k pageviews when I never use this thing? Yukiko is closest to zoning, but she has all that negative edging combo crap that I don't understand. Its cuz' of all the matches you have on JST's channel, you gained so much popularity due to your amazing Platinum.
geckotide Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I kindof liked her, Elizabeth too, but I really wanted to main Aigis. I literally don't get all the inputs and crap yet, though, I keep trying to do Blazblue things.

It does feel weird at first with the DP's and EX moves and other 2 buttons inputs. Do you play on stick? I found the 2x2 layout weird at first but it's surprisingly intuitive once you get used to it. What I've found is that whilst people say the game is more casual, the speed of the game means some of timing is quote tight as well as it being harder to confirm random hits

She's halfway between litchi and Carl in terms of her NE. You don't need to do any directional inputs like Carl, just learn when to release the agi which is kinda like litchi's stick but harder. Ill be on tomorrow symm and we can play

I'm playing on a fightpad at the moment; I do have a dual-modded TE which I suppose I should be using but I could suppose I should be using but I could never get used to the feel of it.
Fistmaster049 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Sup, recently got second in a Persona tourney and was hype as hell, great stuff seems people really like miss Satonaka...shes...kinda everywhere...its terrifying

Fistmaster049 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Cool, but I'll have you know I used to be the Yukiko mod on MayonakaMidnight :3 Oh and gj fist! You were? I thought you'd be more over Mitsuru but ah well yeah, got knocked out first round by an amazing Chie player, fought my way through losers like a freaking boss (seriously I didn't even lose a round) and then I got to the grand finals :D ...against the same Chie...f my life, almost reset the bracket though
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I'm still unsure on a solid main, working with Chie and Shadow Lab atm.
Fistmaster049 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I'm still unsure on a solid main, working with Chie and Shadow Lab atm. Chie: you want it easy breezy with no real effort? go for it S.Labyrs: you want playing this game to feel rewarding? she is the way to go, I'm always hyped watching her I'm sticking with Yu for the most part personally and will probably give normal Labrys and maybe Teddie a try after
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Im starting to like Yukiko more then Rise after watching the anime over again, oh god.
-Seo Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Chie: you want it easy breezy with no real effort? go for it Sounds more like Mitsuru, lol.
Fistmaster049 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Sounds more like Mitsuru, lol. Applies to both pretty well, both are kinda stupidly good Im starting to like Yukiko more then Rise after watching the anime over again, oh god. I have been meaning to watch the anime but I just keep putting it off
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Yo Adam, can you consistantly get those IAD jAx3 Yukiko combos down? I'm having troubles, which isn't a good sign considering I haven't started on SP Agi stuff yet :S
EUCHAMP Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 please invite me to your private netplay rooms =3 (but after this friday, exam lockdown><) also my observation of slab, she's quite good and if you learn her setplay/neutral setup tech properly you can breeze your way through most of an american tournament. chie IS retarded but her optimal hitconfirms/execution aren't easy; 95% of chie players will never learn them. it's month 1 and it took america a good 3-4 months to learn how to properly play neutral and get intermediate tech going with most of the characters, so i'd say there's not much point in getting flustered about matchups at such an incomplete state of development. unless you play liz/kanji. and it's gonna be pretty unforgivable to hear the whole "kanji's too good" spiel again, though i don't see many divemasters on netplay yet
Adam0812 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Yo Adam, can you consistantly get those IAD jAx3 Yukiko combos down? I'm having troubles, which isn't a good sign considering I haven't started on SP Agi stuff yet :S No, it's certainly not the easiest. Tbh it's character specific and you have to be at a specific range (middle of 5a's hitbox). I would probably say its to hard to use consistently in a match online right now until I get much more comfortable so i just opt for a simpler universal bnb at the moment
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 No, it's certainly not the easiest. Tbh it's character specific and you have to be at a specific range (middle of 5a's hitbox). I would probably say its to hard to use consistently in a match online right now until I get much more comfortable so i just opt for a simpler universal bnb at the moment BUT IT LOOKS SO AWESOME! Yeah I just realized I spent all this time learning Yukiko's execution and I forgot to learn decent pressure and blockstrings lol. I'm just ending with 236 into ~]B[ 2D > Persona shit > 5D > Yukiko shit lol. She really lacks any strong highs man, but luckily people keep getting hit by AoA. Sigh, I just feel that there are Yu, Mitsuru and Chie players that would be worse then ou but still win because I can't max Yukiko's potential. I'll just refuse to play her online intill I can confirm a Anti-air 5A, etc into double maragi stuff. For now I stick with Chie online, unless you want some Yukiko mirrors Simatron. Oh btw, wtf should I call you? Simatron, Adam, idk, Sim sounds too much like myself lol.
Adam0812 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) Ha it's a little confusing I agree. We can play mirrors sure. I've still not played a human yet but I'm home in like an hour and I'm planning on playing yosuke first but I don't mind playing whoever whilst everyone is still new to the game. Went to the video game museum when I was in Berlin. Pretty cool EDIT: yer her pressure strings I need to learn. Sometimes figuring out the dummy settings to let you set it up is half the battle. If I set it to just block high would that let me do 2AB > 236 > oki? Edited May 13, 2013 by Adam0812
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Yeah I'll be home around 5-6 maybe, see what I can do I guess.
Adam0812 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 GG's gecko, need to figure out how to punish aegis DP
Kujikawa Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I'm on now but I need to practice unblockables with Yukiko so I'll be playing Chie/Shabby/Yu/Mitsuru. Then again I keep getting kicked cuz apparently I "know how to play the game" lol.
