Graces F's story is so boring and generic, please someone tell me if it actually picks up into a half-decent story! =(

Nope. The tiny shimmer of hope the future arc has for a story also gets shot down at about 3 hours in.

Great. The only character I like is Pascal. The story is ass. Battle System is meh. Art is cool.

At least the skits are funny.

might start Star Ocean 3 again

I recently replayed SO3 actually, haven't bothered to bet the extra dungeons, but going through it again was great fun.

I recommend you get a PSP and play SO2 and SO1, both amazing games!

EDIT: Does anyone have the complete series of Star Ocean EX?

The only one I can find is this and it is the LE super pricey version.

great game. i have first and 2nd departure on my psp, ashamed to say i havent played yet.

jailbroken psp's are the best, make rips of all your fav psx games and play on the go. have all the FF's, grandia, legend of dragoon, castlevania, mgs crash bandicoot, etc etc etc on there, actually makes having one worthwhile!

I have a psp and I have SO2......liking it but.....the load times...and...unskippable cutscenes...especially after you lose.....ah,....AHH....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........ahem...sorry its just the Psp makes me want to cut myself sometimes, if I'm ever going to play SO2 all the way through I'll find a copy of the PS1 version

oh yeah I forgot SO2 got an anime, cool, I knew SO3 got a short manga but damn :O

B-b-b-but I love my PSP, it does everything for me.

Awesome games, Music, TV Shows and Anime, Manga and photos, PS1 games!.

The only thing it doesn't do is call people! Grrr.

Hubert gets next to no character development, Malik is cool, but gets a tiny side story and fuck Sophie.

Also, am I a terrible person for disliking SO3?

symm how can the only character you like in graces be one of the worst ones? not that she's a bad character at all. I can't comprehend how anyone can dislike Hubert, Manlik and Sophie.

Sophie is alright I guess kinda cute, and I only like Pascal cuz' I like them type of characters in games (Hyper, energetic females).

The cast just don't seem full enough, I don't really connect with them at all and they just come across very dull.

Okay I hate Hubert lol, so annoying and boring XD

Also, am I a terrible person for disliking SO3?

I first played it when I was young and I would of gone crazy if you said that lol.

But after replaying it this year, I can understand why some dislike it.

There really isn't anything special about SO3.

SO4 is amazing lol :P Everything is pretty poor, but just get past all the crap and it actually is fun.

The worst thing about it is Welch. WTF DID THEY DO TO HER!?

Well, I don't hate SO3, just think it's a pretty poor game. That fucking no MP = death shit? Stupidest gimmick ever. SO4 however, is every bad anime cliche done terribly thrown into one gigantic mess of a game.

The battle system is actually pretty decent, but it still couldn't make me stay for that trainwreck of a story.

When I first saw SO4 Welch, I immediately questioned why she looked like an entirely different character opposed to the rest of her appearances in the series.
