Pop the front panel off and manual eject it with a straightened out paper clip. My disk tray has autism as well now. I think it may have something to do with storing the console vertically all these years. I watched a vid of SF recenetly. I can't believe how slow that game feels to me now. (practically every disk drive in the world has this feature) Also, try just setting the console down horizontally. I just did that to mine and it's working reliably now all of a sudden....
