cookiehours Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Oh, that reminds me, has anyone even seen CaBulter since CSX came out? I'm missing his heartfelt messages. I haven't seen him. ;_; Makes me wonder what happened.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I think a lot of people are dropping CS until BB3 so no big deal, Solar. Just as long as you aren't leaving us.
SolarMisae Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Naw not going anywhere. Gonna be playing dat Skullgirls and dat Persona when it comes out.
Cryingvoid Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Dropping are mostly those whose asses get kicked much or/and whose chars have been nerved relatively lol I used to play Tao and her damage was getting considerably nerved several times since first CS, so I'm very glad I'm maining Mu right now. She might be nerved later but now she is god tier ) gotta play her to the fullest lol
TD Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 hasn't tao always been really good? maybe not as great in ct, but still decent. l know she's better than mu at least. l mean, it's tao, she can do whatever the hell she wants. you don't like doing whatever the hell you want dude? XD
Cryingvoid Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) It's not that simple. Mu's got godlike pokes, which outpoke even Hakumen (at times), and her average damage is 5-6K. Tao now has average damage around 2.5k. It is 1.5 - 2.0 midscreen, and 3.5 in the corner. And CS1 Tao had 6-7K from wherever midscreen via tauntloop meterless. CS2 Tao had guaranteed 4.5K midscreen and 5K corner via j.9d-loop. So now she is no fun in my opinion. Edited April 30, 2012 by Cryingvoid
TD Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 l see. well, if mu's making you happy then good! who am l to step in the way of character love, considering i'm one of the largest offenders.
Cryingvoid Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 You dislike Mu for some reason? Or just fooling around lol
TD Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 naw l used to submain her in cs1. l was just curious because you came from tao and l wanted to know why.
Cryingvoid Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 yeah, for me Tao was all about big midscreen damage worth jumping all day for a hitconfirm. And Mu is a big truck which is going to hit you at least once a round no matter what you do. She is living WHATTHEFUCK for all her opponents. It is she's just not played widely around to a competitive extend.
YukiBlue Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Tao can land that damage all day though. She can crack open opponents like pistachio nuts.
SolarMisae Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Dropping are mostly those whose asses get kicked much or/and whose chars have been nerved relatively lol Thats FAR from the reason many are dropping it, including myself. I'm dropping it because it's boring at the moment. =/
ThunderboltZ28 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Dropping are mostly those whose asses get kicked much or/and whose chars have been nerved relatively lol I have an 11% win ratio after 700 games and I'm not quitting. The game is just becoming stale.
YukiBlue Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Boring? Yes Stale? Nah I think the game is suffering from the same thing SF is suffering from right now, Devs just do not know where to go with the series, we won't see the new game until next year at the very earliest and I'm assuming that will be after Extends 2 DLC characters which don't even need to be confirmed, we just know they're coming (Kokonoe will be first. I' calling it) Extend just isn't as lively as I wanted it to be.
Cryingvoid Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Dunno guys... maybe it's because my Mu is becoming more stable right now that I am positive about the game. Poor that there are people bored of Extend already. I guess Arcs were too busy with Persona to make a propper BB3 with all new arenas, BGMs and stuff. And here we have 4th or 5th game UPDATE instead of a brand new installment. That figures I guess.
pochp Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I dunno about boring, I'm trying to get a decent sub, I usually switch between the two at meetups and online. Going to tournaments is also good to keep you interested, you want to practice up for it, and you're pretty hyped afterwards. I'm most likely going to ECT in June, anyone else?
Iza Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 im rather bored of Extend myself, going to my local scene dosen't help much either
ThunderboltZ28 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 im rather bored of Extend myself, going to my local scene dosen't help much either RIP Tsubaki's 5B.
SolarMisae Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) It depends on the state of your scene. Mine has got some stuff going on between some members I think. I know during one event no one wanted to play BB, we pretty much were just hanging out rather then playing, which is still cool but shows we're bored of it. When someone in the scene offers pay someone else's entry fee to get them to even consider entering a tournament you know the scene is dying. Edit: Also I never played Tsubaki but I messed with her enough to know that even I feel the 5B nerf. It's awful. Edited May 1, 2012 by SolarMisae
ThunderboltZ28 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I don't have a scene. I only play BlazBlue online.
Iza Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 my scene ok, normally we always have good turn out at the "astral heat" events, i only like it however when its the casual one where we can sit back and have fun, when its tournament there way too much tension in the air for me to enjoy anything and everyone cussing each other i don't like, ofc this is my view, i dunno how other better players think :8/:
cookiehours Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 ...I CHANGE FROM COOKIEHOUR AND NETPLAY IS LIKE SCREW YOU, YOU WILL FOREVER BE A COOKIE. ; ^ ; I seriously hate when the game freezes at character select screen or mid-match.
