Dub VA Changes in Extend?

There's not really any Engrish in Extend aside from the usual Engrish from the announcers.

Not sure, I never played CS2.

I should hurry up and go through Story so I can get to the new stories. Also, pretty sure Linhua's VA is different, but I'm not sure, because, as with the subordinates, I haven't heard her in CS in a while.

I don't know how suzaku spelt it but in game trinity's surname is glassfield

it's not so much the quality of the dialogue than the consistency of the voice direction (for the dub at least). All the new joke endings were amazing though

Just saw PJS' archive of CT Reconstruction

-Some of the new recording tools they use make the voices sound slightly tinny.

-Cristina is still Nu, and I must say her performance is undeniably better this time around. She's put a lot more emphasis on how lustful/yandere Nu is towards Ragna. Superior to her old CT performance by a mile.

-Rachel is back to Mela Lee.

-The brief scene with Takamagahara after the first fight is done by Michelle Ruff.

-Jamieson Price (Tager) provides the opening narrative.

Shuichiro was used in CS2, it's also pretty much the same as Shuuichirou, just a shortened romanisation. The "Celica" spelling was already used in BuruRaji (which is Japanese, but they spelt her name out in English) and the translated Phase 0 Prologue manga that was released in Europe by Zen United. The "Clavis" name change sounds random, but probably has something to do with Clavis and Claudius looking incredibly similar in katakana. Of course, maybe they thought someone having the Latin word for "key" as a name was incredibly dumb.

Wow, Hazama now has 3 voices. As I suspected, Troy Baker did his lines for Extend. And it's surprisingly quite good. I'm actually kinda hoping this carries over.

I don't think that sounds like Troy Baker. It sounds more like Doug Erholtz. The REAL Doug Erholtz, not the guy who did Hazama's voice before that people think is Doug Erholtz but actually isn't.

No, it's definitely Troy. He's got some pretty good range. When Hazama says "I'm a friggin' mess. Would it kill ya to pull your punches a bit?", you can hear a bit of Kanji / Nova.

-The main scientist guy who had Valk's VA has been changed to Steve Kramer.

-Jin/Hakumen is still David Vincent, but ArcSys used the wrong distortion effects that Aksys used and ended up lowering his pitch as a result for the Hakumen lines.

-Just heard Hazama. Tokkan was right, it's not Troy. It's Doug using his Gin voice. Again, it's uncanny how similar Erik Davies sounds to him.

-Torakaka has a new VA. No idea who it is, but I know it's not her original.

Throwing in that I'm pretty sure Rachel's familiars have different voices too? Unless I'm remembering the older games totally wrong.

Basically more annoying is typos in the dialogue, the written dialogue being different from what's said, random chunks being in Japanese, and I've heard the text is in Spanish at some points [though I haven't seen that yet myself]. They messed this up a ton...

Nago and Gii have the same voices. And so far I haven't had any random Japanese lines at all, or sudden text changes to Spanish. Then again, I am running the 360 copy. Maybe it's a PS3-related bug.

The English voice overs are just horribly bad, the funny stuff that goes on on the script is not enough to justify listening to these guys.

I thought that was the funniest fuckin' part of that ending. Not even joking.

I also noticed the Torakaka VA change, but not until yesterday, and my router was down yesterday so I couldn't bring it up here. The random changes to Japanese, the random Spanish text, the script saying the wrong thing, etc. etc. still pisses me off, though. Especially that one line from Bang in Reconstruction, something along the lines of "*talking to subordinates about Jin* This is my moment, and you guys can't win against one who spams 'Ice Car' so thoroughly..."

That would have been great to hear, but Bang didn't fucking say that himself, it was just in the script on-screen. I would have loved to hear that in the game, but they let me down, just like all of Reconstruction did.
