That's why I never really DP Rachel unless I feel an instant overhead coming, but then my instinct is to block. I think cause I'm too respectful in real life, it affects my gameplay lol. Yeah, you tend to dodge PSN netplay against me every time there is a chance for it. Also, Hellknight REALLy wanted to play you so he's gonna be disappointed about that. Next time. Anyway, I left HK's room because I'm cooking up something to eat since I haven't eaten in like forever. Siefer Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Mmm, I think the biggest problem in those matches was my lack of character knowledge of Platinum and Jin. I didn't know what either character could do at any range at neutral and I didn't know how to defend against their block strings. I figured that I wasn't going to beat you, so I ratherswell study one aspect of the match (defense) and see how you react to certain things. I saved a few of the replays and I'll be studying them up. This isn't to say my offense was great either, but I'm more concerned about defense and what I can do in neutral right now. Offense is something I can practice totally on my own. I'm just glad you didn't play like other people who come into my room by trolling me with half the cast. I can't learn any match-ups if people are constantly switching characters...
Moy_X7 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I only know Jin and Plat though, two characters is more than enough for me lol. Not a lot of people can react to Plat's TK Swallow j.B or Jin's 6A, that and I can do various other things with TK Swallow. I guess you could look for stuff but I try not to use patterns if I can avoid it. I'll mix up my pressure from time to time and I try to not be too predictable.
