It's particularly hairy this month because we have move in and start up costs (they will actually get a bit worse, as we're going to have to pay deposit and first month's rent soon). But overall it was a pretty economical move in and build out. Each month I'll update that sheet with all the relevant info.

Just finished a strategy meeting with Brett and Clark and ironed out the details for this Saturday =)

Here are the details and the schedule...

Fred has agreed to come open the place early for us for us to setup so we should be able to follow the schedule without problems~

We have also accounted for possible delays and should have enough leeway to handle any complications we may run into.

As of this Dogfight, the venue fee is back to the original fee: $7

3pm~6pm: Guilty Gear AC+R - double elim, free entry

Bans: EX characters, Shadow/Gold colors, Baiken/May/Kliff j.D glitch

Whether or not macros are banned is between you and your opponent

4:30pm~8pm: Gundam EXVS - double elim, team hold, free entry

6pm~10pm: BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma - double elim, $3 entry

So, for this upcoming Dogfight (and perhaps consistently in the future), we will be doing a Guilty Gear Beginners Tournament in conjunction with the normal GG Singles.

The rules are all standard and straightforward. The only difference is that you must be at 1500 RiskRating or below to enter.

Maybe a random 2v2 or 3v3, where players with rankings higher and lower than 1500 are evenly distributed.

Or your suggestion of a FT5, except anyone (not just the winner) can play against the high ranks on stream. I want everyone to get a chance for improvement if they want it

My flight turns out to be in the evening, so I'll probably show up and hang out for 4 or 5 hours. Won't be staying past 8, though, need to get home and go to the airport, lol.

Also for the beginners tournament, if you don't have a Risk Rating or if your RR is below 1500, it's still up to the tournament organizers to determine if you're too strong to enter the tournament or not. This is so that somebody who's been playing for years but hasn't entered any Dogfight tournaments lately doesn't just come in and destroy everyone.

That'll be up to Dakanya, but it shouldn't be a problem. On the off-chance that we do start right at 3PM on the dot, we can probably put you in the bracket anyway and just run your match later.
