If you are and it is Tougeki 05, I downloaded them too. It took me no longer than a day to completely finished without errors.

In the / Ky CM "Oblivion" that was recently posted, the last two clips show Ky clashing with an opponent's attack and FDing (the clash? or maybe FDCing something else after the clash), and then the opponent's next attack completely whiffs. Does anyone know what's actually happening there?

I'd like to do a double video request, sry if some of them has been already posted, Ive looked up round the web and haven't found anything.

First of them is the SBo tougeki GGXX#R 2004 Finals and semis (mostly finals)

And the other is ALL matches you guys know of these two players:

Faith (ky) (Although being a god between ky players I have found small number of matches of him...I guess I didn't search well)

Shonen (Testament) ...For me the best and most original testa player...have you people watched his CM's? >< omg!

Searching this thread (that's using 'Search this Thread' mind you, not just 'Search') for any of these ('chipp matches', 'shonen', 'sbo 2004', 'tougeki 2004', 'johnny msy', 'johnny matches', etc. just as some examples) brings up the desired post within the first 5 results. Reasonably convenient, yes no?

Well, regardless, I've compiled all of the working links I have here (minus the case-specific stuff like Game Chariot packs, etc., which can still be searched), with keywords, in hopes that those who seek something that's already available can find it with greater ease, & more in the time frame of when they want it.

Just a note: In case anyone's wondering about the content of the character specific match packs, while the player specific packs generally contain all I have of that player (just winning matches if I had a lot, winning & losing if I didn't have many), the character packs contain only vids picked from winning matches after I re-watched them all, not just random matches, or all I have of that character. The Faust pack for instance, is 33 out of about 100 winning matches that were, put simply, far superior to the other 67.

Since most of the matches I have for each character are at least 'good', I'm looking for the absolute best play (from both players/characters) among them, only the worthiest. I realize that a lot of good play for X character is missed by choosing only from winning matches, but that's just how I organized them in #R, & the prospect of choosing from all of a character is staggering, as would be the increase in filesize, bandwidth, & time to compile each pack.

I try not to include too many wherein the character completely mutilates the opponent, especially when it's seemingly more due to a huge player skill imbalance than tight play. Regardless, even good players getting owned often means short matches, which often = small file size, so a few of the better ones do slip in. I also try to stay away from matches that I know are from '03 & early '04, & generally only include ones from that period if they're of particular note.

Basically, I weed out the less-than-stellar shit to try to make kind of a 'Best of [character]' out of what I have, which is surely a small percentage of all matches upped for #R, but still a decent chunk (of which I got a more than decent chunk from LiteSabre as I've mentioned before, but I still don't feel that I've repaid him in props, so here's another thanks LS, & a China thingy: :china:).

Er.. you can download the videos using FlashGet. Copy the URL of the .asx file and then download it in FlashGet...

Can someone tell me how to use VLC. Once I download it, I don't know how to play videos. I've tried going to open file and stuff like that but nothing happens. Can someone please just tell me what to do.

What files did you tried to open? Well, if it's a video, right click it, select "Open with..." and browse for the VLC player.

Or you can also select "Open" in the VLC Player and browse for the video file.
