I like how when I'm trying to boost forward after 2ABC I end up boosting straight down. I suppose I'm holding the 2 direction for too long but it's something I can overcome with a little practice. :X

then stop holding 2 :P haha well yea... i been only playing trainign mode for the past 2 days.. :V it was helping cause i can finally do combos ! and know how to use BOoST!

Kira's 360s are definitely the easiest 360s I've ever seen... I am terrible at them and I can still do Kira's like 100% of the time. 720s a bit harder though. Anyway, does Kira have any decent combos with Time arcana? Seems like she can get them to the corner easy but without the quick step forward I'm not sure how to do the weird corner loops or anything.

hey Zaido...given your avatar...I'll assume you're using Maori...if so...have you gotten the hang of sweet spotting the downward kick to follow them all the way down into the poison yet?

Any of you guys find a way out of gier/lighting super into unblockable yet? Seems like it's possible using guard cancels but I haven't found any super reliable way yet. Also what's up with the DPs hit boxes in this game, they're tiny.

I've heard of the unblockables, but haven't seen any yet or been able to pull them off. Testament101, if you do a 623+a, then whiffing a C into 22B is the sweet spot normally. However the recovery on 623+a is long, so whiffing the c can be difficult to time.

Those are quite difficult to get around. I believe guard cancel-to-throw works pretty well, but I wouldn't say it's too reliable. Practice more wall-techs!

I hope you're not comparing the DP hitboxes to Sol's. Otherwise, I find the hitboxes to be fairly decent (well... Heart's at least!).

Hmm well, I was mostly referring to Mei Fang's, and the witch chick. I haven't mesed around with heart much yet, but I guess the DPs are ok as anti air, they just don't work that great on the ground >_<

Gier and Bhanri 6[C] and 3[C] setups are hilarious. 4D at the appropriate moment (something like right around the 2nd hit of the super... for both supers, IIRC) to avoid getting clobbered... or 6D at the appropriate time to clash and hope you win the post-clash war without getting hit. If you're using Tempestas (wind) you can 6D pushblock them off you D:

But yeah, 4D is generally your best shot. Can be baited and such but then your problem isn't getting guardcrushed, it's getting mixed up :vbang:

i kind of have.. though it seems it only works in the corner, like i can only do it after i doa BBC loop into A neesan drop in corner to get it off, it has to do with HC6 to 5C whiff to Neesan Drop in that order or so.. though i havn't tried on all characters yet only done it on heart cause i was using her as dummy :V

If you time it right... no, IIRC. Though it's better to eat the 3rd hit (with less followup these days) than it is to eat the 6[C] into all the hits and get combo'd D:

Wow pbjmixxa, if you mainly use the characters in your ava, then we use the same characters! But the main thing is, I need to get better with each of those characters. My Saki is average, Heart is average, and then my Kamui...... way way way below what you can say is average. I also use a little bit of Maori from here and there and just to say.... rushing your shit down with her is amazing!!!!! As I look at the pages of guardcrush, I wonder when they will post some actual info on Heart.

Nice to know there's more people giving Heart a chance. I main Heart above all others and play Saki and Kamui as secondaries. Wouldn't say my Heart's too much better than the other two, but I do spend most of my time playing her. Her IAD combos can be... quite exhausting... but so much fun to pull off. Yeah, I do wish they'd put up some Heart info on guardcrush. Though I know a lot about Heart, it would be nice to get info on things like "How she fairs with different Arcanas" and that sort of thing. There are some Heart combos, as well as other char info, posted on the link in my sig, if interested. Not too much info, but we're working on it.

I'm still wondering if I should bother getting this game. It reminds me of melty blood, which was fun, though not as good as GG. Is there somewhere I can find out just how to play this game? The most I can seem to find are command lists, which don't really explain the game mechanics at all. Can someone point me in the direction of an instruction manual or FAQ that explains how the game works?

I can get that part into the corner it's just when neesan follows them down...I can't time the poison right...I try to buffer it in the recovery animation of the neesan drop and press the button when recovery's over but all she does is boost that isn't a HC so It leaves me wondering if I'm doing the move right...so confusing...

Any good Arcana Hearts guide like the GG 101 guide? Looks very interesting so far (now that PS2 version is out, training should be much easier), but i can't seem to grasp the basics lol. Didn't really play the arcade version. I've heard about woof's guide, but i can't seem to find it here?

The best player in the US plays Heart. Heart is too good. 6B :vbang:

Who would that be exactly? Sabin plays Kamui, and HeartNana plays Lili. Pre-console port, I would consider them the best in the US.
