CrimsonDisaster Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Sabin plays Heart a lot also, though he did play Kamui at SBO I guess.
purify Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 There should be a hidden character that's just a giant penis.
darkpanzer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Nice to know there's more people giving Heart a chance. I main Heart above all others and play Saki and Kamui as secondaries. Wouldn't say my Heart's too much better than the other two, but I do spend most of my time playing her. Her IAD combos can be... quite exhausting... but so much fun to pull off. Yeah, I do wish they'd put up some Heart info on guardcrush. Though I know a lot about Heart, it would be nice to get info on things like "How she fairs with different Arcanas" and that sort of thing. There are some Heart combos, as well as other char info, posted on the link in my sig, if interested. Not too much info, but we're working on it. Thank you for the site. I was looking for a good place to post about AHF. Its a great game with currently a small community. But knowing that with people like us, its gonna grow, and I mean GROW. I'm gonna start posting on AHB as soon as I start to get the hang of everything. thumbs up!!!!!!!

Zaido Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I can get that part into the corner it's just when neesan follows them down...I can't time the poison right...I try to buffer it in the recovery animation of the neesan drop and press the button when recovery's over but all she does is boost that isn't a HC so It leaves me wondering if I'm doing the move right...so confusing... basically what i have seen is, neesan drop supposedly shoudl hit up to 5 or more(not too sure) from a BBC loop in corner, and since the last hit will hit them into the groudn which makes them bounce up a bit, but because it hit 5 times you have enough time to recover , cast poison and it iwll barely hit them in a way add more juggle so you can continue BBC loop, the problem with this is you have to time the distnace right for neesan drop.. i mean it feels the higher they are, the easier for neesan drop to hit max hits or so...

Spelling my name wrong is unforgivable. You disgrace the name of the mighty "HEART"!!!
darkpanzer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Spelling my name wrong is unforgivable. You disgrace the name of the mighty "HEART"!!! I apologize good sir. I didn't mean to do that. I was typing that in a hurry since I was gonna go sleep. Soooooo yea. Sorry again man.
HeartBuri XD Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 uh guardcrush.net guys yeah... Also Sabin plays Heart a lot also, though he did play Kamui at SBO I guess. Not true anymore, Art is pretty much all Kamui now. I think by his words, it was something like "Heart's evil" after playing Pincho for awhile
Doomscyther Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Damn it im starting to play this loli game. *takes pants off to play*
...... Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Hmm....alright, I'll give this game a shot. I'm thinking Kamui/Lilika for characters. Konoha is about the crappiest ninja character I've ever seen and I can't help but think she's named that because of naruto. One question, though. Can you use the analog stick to play this game? Or do you have to use the D-pad?
darkpanzer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 You won't regret it "......".Your gonna really like AHF. I guess your choice of characters is pretty good. Kamui is pretty easy to use. But then when you said Lilica.... you must be good. Her combos are really hard and her "sidewinder" loop, is really really really hard.
CrimsonDisaster Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Lilica isn't that hard to play, until you get into the instant run cancel combos. The basic heelkick slide heelkick loop isn't all that hard.

But then when you said Lilica.... you must be good. Her combos are really hard and her "sidewinder" loop, is really really really hard. "SIDEWINDER"?!! ... ok... Yeah, Lilica's "Axe-kick" loop's not too hard with practice. I could never pull off more than one hit 'till I got used to the game system. Now, it's no harder than Heart's IAD loops (actually, Heart's IAD loops are harder!). The hard part with Lilica is setting up for the "Axe-kick" loop. I usually just HC2 the first hit of her super and go straight into it. -> By far, the easiest setup.
zer0kage Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Some Meifang vids are really inspirational. Aerial fireball is indeed Millia's hairpin just get that jC near the corner and you're set to take >50% life off if your execution is up to par. Let's see how other characters make use of the long untechable time though.:8/:
CrimsonDisaster Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Lilica 2ABC 6D 5AB XX 236A~C into loop.
Zaido Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 i still think Lilica's Dash canceling combos are pretty pain in the ass :V...
furix Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, they are, but it's all in the timing. You have to do 214a+c a bit late on the 5b. 2abc 6D 5ab 214a+c b 214a+c b dash 5ab etc... the hard part is getting the timing down on when to cancel the 5b into flash step, but once you start getting the hang of it.. flash step combos are no harder than heel kick combos(they are actually easier!)
...... Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 So what is the difference between a neutral homing cancel(HC), which appears to be the same thing as a roman cancel, and an "aimed" homing cancel (HC6)? Once again can you use the stick as well as the pad? And as far as lilika's air dash loop combo(the hard one), how hard is it compared to, say, baiken's dust loop or Millia's hairpin loop?
darkpanzer Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 "SIDEWINDER"?!! ... ok... Yeah, Lilica's "Axe-kick" loop's not too hard with practice. The hard part with Lilica is setting up for the "Axe-kick" loop. I usually just HC2 the first hit of her super and go straight into it. -> By far, the easiest setup. I said "sidewinder" because its kind of like Sol's sidewinder loop. I also didn't know the name. hehehe.
CrimsonDisaster Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 It's nothing like Sol's Sidewinder loop. Like... at all. .....: Ground 6D for most Arcanae is a ground dash without the huge revving up part (better for most characters' combos) Exceptions- Ohtsuchi/rock (has huge startup), Anutpada/time (teleport) All the other directions (and all directions in the air) have their startup burst in the direction you are holding. Neutral homing's startup burst is of course in place. Neutral homing isn't anything like an RC, it's just a stationary "boost" at startup that turns into regular homing flight after. Useful for some combos (mostly off air moves or 3[C]s) but Lilica isn't going to do that as much as, say... Mei-Feng. Lilica is mostly using 6D (off her 2C) and 2D (off her 623AB) for combos.
darkpanzer Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Sorry. I didn't really know what to call it because I didn't know the name of the move, but I have seen it so I know what you mean when you say its not like the sidewinder loop. But it was the only thing I was able to think of at the moment. Man, I'm looking pretty stupid lol. But back on-topic. Saki's BnB is pretty hard, well, for me atleast, I haven't really got to it but I understand what to do. And so far, I haven't been able to connect her Orna move with anything. Looks like I have to look around the internet for help.
pbjmixxa Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Check the Arcana wiki for info on how to set up her Orna. Given how slow her 5C is, with practice, it'll get pretty easy to do. Out of personal preference, I never use Orna in her BnBs except as a combo finisher because she has better setups. So, with Saki's combos, is the issue the IADs or just Orna? There's no real shorcut to getting either down so just practice. In due time you'll see just how easy it is to do them. (I think Axl users will find Orna a pretty simple setup... guess that's why I've never really had troubles doing it)
