St1ckBuG Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 All of Jersey should try to make this. If if you're only interested in learning GG you should come out.
El Henshín Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 having never played GG (only BB) I feel infinite shame. At an opportunity to go out and learn/play GG I am excited though. Gonna need to get me a ps2 stick...
LightspeedTaco Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 Glad to hear! We should have room for dedicated casuals as well, but not sure if enough setups. If you have any copies of GG and PS2s, those would help greatly (not gonna ask you to lug around a CRT)
JayKay54 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Definitely going to come out for this. Is it alright if I bring a setup for BB casuals?
LightspeedTaco Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 Definitely going to come out for this. Is it alright if I bring a setup for BB casuals? Yessir, should have the room for it. If you have a power strip you could bring for your setup, it would help us out greatly. Also Stickbug will be streaming. Cause he's anime and shit.
iora Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 this isnt a netplay tourney.... you should know better ^^ jokes. make it out people. its gg. you know better.
DaiAndOh Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 C'mon Jersey, NYC, where you at? This is rather far via public transportation. If people want to give a ride...
Mr.Biscuits Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I can technically make it since I get out of work around 6 but I doubt I can make it all the way to Jersey in time for GG.
LightspeedTaco Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 There is a NJ Transit station around 5 min walk distance from the venue. About and hour and a half ride. Not sure how long it'd take you guys to get to Penn Station, but that's the best public trans way. But yeah, if anyone from NYC is coming and driving, pick these two guys up!
Mr.Biscuits Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I'll attempt to make it. It's about a 2 hour drive with the traffic that will be expected at around the time I get off work (6PM or so). I don't think I can pick anyone up since I'll be in Yonkers and will just head straight to the bridge. So Alan will be there for sure? I'll just call him to update on my situation.
DaiAndOh Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 See I get out of work at 6:30, so I'd be rushing to Penn then hoping a train comes on time and go at the ride alone. Then I'm exhausted and play even worse than usual by the time I get there . I'm just out of the way from Biscuits job too.
