Has that kanji chart been finished?

now new info was given sadly. and since I don't have the game at home (europe 0/) I can't work on it on my own.

After seeing Fab's Kanji in that first to 10 I've decided to learn how to play Kanji. I haven't been feeling learning anything new about Teddie or Yu so I'm soul searching. Kanji was my original choice prior to the game being released but once I got my hands on him and felt how sluggish his movement was I went to Teddie instead. I figured Kanji was just knockdown into dp/command throw, pressure into tick grab or hit confirm into aa combo. But that first to 10 made him look a lot deeper than just that.

Hmm, seems like his Additional Cruel Attack doesn't connect that often. Is it some kind of a reset or just lag?

He's doing that intentionally to force tech or they take additonal damage.

Also good for trying to keep your opponent from getting into awakening state.

neat fact: you can do r action to absorb a persona hit and then immediately grab super. any persona attacks that have long active frames will often beat you if you move into range to grab the person, but if you absorb the hit with r action, they no longer hit you cant thwack you out of the extra range.

i learned this by mashing.

I didn't know about that until Summer Jam and used the super cancel on R action and chair super to take two cards on Liz.

also i discovered a game breaking gimmick but im saving it for something.

its honest to god the most genius gimmick in the history of fighting games. i promise to use it on someone famous. its only good enough to win 1 round but i want that round to be vs someone specific.

my goal is to do it on stream.

everyone will love me.

well i need help. how do i kanji. i dont like p4u but i wanna learn how to appreciate this game. i wanna play kanji, but i already hate his options. what do?

seriously though, is there a tutorial or a guide on how to kanji? like baiting rolls, dps, AOA, practical combos (not fatals lol) and other stuff like that?

why do you think fatals are not practical? there are many occasions where you need them, and to capture the moment that you landed a FC can make a HUGE difference in terms of damage output. and kanji's FC combos sure can hurt a lot.

Anybody have tips for fighting Mitsuru? I really hate fighting this damn woman. I have more fun getting bodied by Elizabeth. (At least with Liz I know if manage to get in I can finish things quickly, and she doesn't beat everything I do just by poking me...)

I'm beginning to realize I just don't know how to approach this matchup at all honestly. More often than not, when I do win it feels more like luck than skill.

sorry for my poor writing on this one but what I meant is I wanna know the practical combos that are not the fatal ones because I already know them for the most part :P I was talking about if I hit with, say, a random 5a on oki what should I go for? or a 2A CH on a standing opponent? those kind of combos

If you land a random 5A on oki then just do 5AA and confirm if they are in the air, crouching, or just standing.

5AA>air combo if hit out the air.

5AA>2B>236C>236A/B if they are hit crouching

5AA>5B>2A+B to knock them down again if caught standing.

How do you guys plan the neutral game? The more I play the more I feel kanji has less and less options and shouldn't even be at that range. 5C has that shitty hitbox where sometimes people just airdash and get a free jump in. Most character's normals just straight up beat everything kanji has except for 5b. And god I eat so many combos just from even jumping back. It's getting to the point where if I'm within 5C range all I want to do is back off and try to hit a lightening so I can get in. Characters that have really fast mobility *yosuke* just shit on me and I just feel helpless trying to fish for that random FC. Sorry for that rant I'm just frustrated.
