GGs from last night. Reached S+ 790 PSR or something @ level 34 playing 100 ish matches I think. Planning to hit 800 and then go in hard on player matches. Need more Kanji practice since I have never won them legit (IK lol). Sometime tonight someone play me (especially Kanjis). I play a really lame Yukiko.

Lol,how are you still getting ranked matches where you're getting PSR? I'm stuck at like 758 or something because every match I played, I got 0 PSR unless it was a 700psr player. And I don't run into them often -_-

It seems the more you keep winning at lower levels the more you keep getting 5 or more PSR per win. Currently I am getting the +2's on average now so I'm probably hitting that wall now. Got a couple of +12 PSR against Banana Ken when I was A+. I think higher rank also affects PSR gains.

I think it's because the system favors PSR boosts when you have lower PSR. It also feels like it also takes # of games played into account, since a lot of the highest ranked players have less than 200 games played total (though it may just be that it's easier to maintain an extremely high winrate when you have less games played, or they established these ratings back in week 1 and haven't been truly active since then).

But assuming a 0 PSR player was just picking up any ranked match available ... from F- to C rank, you can rank up from ANYONE, you could be F- and 0 PSR and hunt down say, an A rank with 650 PSR, and win ... You'd probably get very large PSR boosts, while simultaneously ranking up. So effectively more PSR per game won going by this kind of method.

PSR gains are like 5-8 and up per win up until 100 wins. then it slows down.

Well I get 0 PSR unless I fight somebody who's 700+ PSR, then I get 1-3 points depending if they're below/higher than me in PSR. I also lose 1-3 as well.

So I for the most part gave up on rank until I get my PS3, then ill do everything over again.
