Valthazeryus Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Just wondering, if both burst and OD work with the same buttons (ABCD), how will the game know when you intend to burst or enter your OD state. Because depending on how they work it, you may not be able to OD-cancel your opponents block strings, from my understanding. Edited October 9, 2012 by Valthazeryus

mAc Chaos Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Sounds like it just replaced Gold Burst. Did they get rid of that.
shtkn Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 you can't cancel blockstun into OD. this isn't x factor. think of it this way: the only time you can OD is when you can gold burst in BBCS. gold burst does not exist in CP
TD Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 so only in a neutral position. maybe you can jump install it from a jcable move. that could be interesting. and if rachel can activate hers while george is hitting she could probably do some big damage with all that free wind....

I'm referring to those times when you're about to gold burst and you're hit a little before activation and it turns into a green burst.
shtkn Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 i think there were reports that you can cancel some normals into OD but i'm not sure. that may be another way to do it though.
HiagoX Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 i think there were reports that you can cancel some normals into OD but i'm not sure. that may be another way to do it though. Yeah, there were reports about OD being cancellable on hit, much like how RC works.
WolfCrimson Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Did the reports say if you can cancel it from specials AND normals, or is it jut normals?
Mumm-Ra Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I think it as said that it works like any other special move, so special cancelable moves cancel into OD. I don't think that specials can cancel into it.
TPPR10 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I have few questions: 1: Is there any information what Taokaka's new moves do? 2: Is one of Litchi's new DD done in Straight Through? 3: Can you, in sense, Tiger Knee Tager's air 360 move?

Just do a 360 motion and then let him actually jump before hitting C.
Agni Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 TK'ing a 360? Sounds like WAAAAY too much trouble for what it's worth.
Dont_Explain Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) You just do a 360 (or 270 in a lot of fighters) and press the button a little after your jump would come out Using numeric notation it should be I think 987412369 Hope I didn't derp again. Edited October 11, 2012 by Dont_Explain whoops
Fluck Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 You have to let the jump come out or how is it a Tiger Knee? Btw it's easier to TK a 360 than to NOT TK it so I don't really see the problem. Just do a regular 360 and hit the button late.
Dont_Explain Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Whoops I derped. Thanks for correcting me.

A.X.I.S. Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 FYI Tager's air 360 is done with the C button. So you cannot accidentally do it trying to 360A/B but you can accidentally do it off a 720C theoretically.
Fluck Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 There's a better OS. Do 720, fuck up and get air 360 on jumping opponent, claim you had perfect yomi on that.
Chaoschao222 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Eventually all of Tager's inputs will just be OS' for other inputs.
Chipp12 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Did I miss Bullet's IK or it wasn't posted yet?
TPPR10 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) 'Kay, thanks for the info. However, the problem with TK'ing 360 in my opinion is that everytime it happens, it seems to do a backwards super jump. So even if you think you can do something with 360 move fail, you might still fail on actually hitting opponent with air 360. EDIT: What the heck was I on when I wrote the last part? YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 You can pretty much create your own fraudulent OS after GF with TK 360.
