something_GNU Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) Because in the video Makoto used it after Lunatic Upper, and Lunatic Upper follow ups are Mars/Star Gazer/Infinite Rush/Lander Blow so it must be Lander Blow unless Lunatic Upper can go into Shooting Star without our know. In the PDF for Shooting Star, it states, "usable during A Asteroid Vision/Lunatic Upper" So it should be Shooting Star we see Edited August 8, 2012 by something_GNU pic from pdf for clarity

Major unanswered questions (at least for me): How does Cosmic Ray look/work? How does Lander Blow look/work? Is Lightning Arrow useful again or still useless like in Extend? Any changes to Parry? Can we combo off of back-throw at all? Air throw?
Bibiquadium Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 Parry staggers backward in the change list so far. And as far as I recall Lightning Arrow wasn't entirely useless in Extend, it wasn't combo viable but it was good to use in neutral game.

Nah it was completely terrible, uncomboable without counter, terrible hit box, unsafe on block, lost match at evo because i used it once in neutral, completely fucking terrible -_-

Full invincibility eliminates the fact that it is ineffective against low hits. Its made to be high-risk compared to other forms of counters but with higher reward, just like everything Makoto has. I would prefer to see combo-ability on it's Level 2 charge without the use of a rapid. As it stands, the only way to get anything is a Level 2/3 + Rapid which is difficult and extremely costly even for such a high reward. Just keeping her close enough to the opponent with a 2 charge to allow at worst a 1.5-1.7k even with 60-70% proration would be great in my opinion. Level 1 charge is useless, level 2 is relatively easy to get with minor payoff, level 3 is difficult and costly but is one of the strongest things she can do. Hell, just making it easier to use at all compared to Extend would be great.

It's one of the hardest moves to pull off in the entire game other than a few of Tager's grapples. Better combo ability would really be apprreciated too. (edit) Catch time needs to be extended a little, 1/4 a second is pretty damn precise.

But it says something about being blue... anyway it looks like our Damage is gonna be so beast in this game since everyone got hit hard by nerf hammer, but still we are in the loketest phase for now, things might change a lot.

There's not a specific release date for the states yet for console, is there? Because I really want this game. Blazblue is finally being updated after like 3 games.
