SirSmoov Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 lol...jam was always scrubby i think....but, now shes even scrubbier...gatling combo that gatlings into gatling combo for 60-70% -_- ....i heard she doesn't lose her charge unless the kick connects too,lol....the last few jam vidz i've seen they're throwin out kicks and puffballs without a care in the world...not that i blame em'....she gets retarded rewards for just about any random hit she connects (i think i was always envious of this a axl player =/ )...and she's still got what i believe to be one of the best...if not the best dust in the game....she's sol in womenz clothing...in fact...she'll probably have to show sol how to scrub out the victories in AC the funny thing is...most of these vidz i c are jam still in testing stages...they've hardly been using any 5D or 5k compared to what they used to...they're still testing her new 6hs...once they get comfortable mixing in her old filth with the new filth...its on...

(Back in couple pages back, I said, "I think Jam is more High Med tier") Okay, I'll try to look at more ABA and Pot vids. ---- i heard she doesn't lose her charge unless the kick connects too ---- Yeah, as silly it is, she can cancel her kick (while charged) with the same kick and only the 2nd one will have the charged kick effect, really whack. (e.g. Jam have Ryujin, 236K charged. Jam performs 236K,236K, only the 2nd hit is the charged kick, going for that wall pin for combo starter.)
Doren2k Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 There is one bad thing about Jam in AC!!! You can't hold back and then hit 6 to parry you have to be neutral in then hit 4,6. So you can't scrub out parrys on accident anymore that is all. lol.

This adds to both his combos and his mixups; he can hammerfall break -> buster very quickly from it, and he can now combo 2H from 2S. Some examples: Slide Head, Hammerfall Break, 5K -> 2S -> 2H -> Heavenly Pot Buster 5K -> 5S -> 2S -> 2H -> Heat Knuckle or HPB. - The air Pot Buster is useful. If the beat counter isn't too high, I believe he can perform all his old Pot Buster combos in the corner. He can even combo into it, though it requires an immediate jump cancel before. To see what I mean, here's one of his new B&B's: 5K -> 5S -> 2S -> 2H -> Hammerfall Break, j.P -> j.K -> JC, air Buster. I have heard that you can even "tick throw" in the air with it, but have not seen this yet. - The Pot Buster FRC is nice, as it allows him to deal more damage and leave the opponent knocked down next to him. 2S seems to be all that combos from it at midscreen, but that allows you to finish with Heat or HPB. - Apparently Giganter is more comboable now...vs. Testament I have seen this one: 5K -> 5S -> 2S -> 2H -> Giganter -> Bullet, 2S -> Heat. Crazy damage + close knockdown! - j.S causes a bounce on CH now. This is especially good because you can chain j.S -> j.H, and even if it hits early you can still land and combo into Heat or whatever. - Minor but cool detail: He can FDB supers again! Hopefully all of this gives you an idea of how much better he is. I still see Eddie as a likely bad matchup for him, but he seems to be able to at least compete with everyone else. As for ABA, this one is all about the EX purple shit. That thing has a ton of super armor and launches, and I have seen matches where she wins mostly by spamming it (especially nasty on wakeup). However, this may just be "day 1 tech", so to speak - it IS possible to hit her out of it, so perhaps people will figure out how to do this consistently. Otherwise she appears to be the same as in Slash, except with weaker rekkas (cause slide now instead of bounce) and no IK glitch. And to be an off-topic douche: Look at the Ko-Hatsu blog. Right at the top is a fat Zasalamel charging his LAZURS, I shit you not.

When I left, he got 50+ wins the last I saw. Also at Ikebukuro GIGO, mike got 57 wins with Jam in casuals. Those 2 characters are really beastly in AC.

Tritone Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Yeah, May is looking pretty retardedly good in Accent Core. Does more damage, more consistently, and is able to do so off of a lot more random hits, with less tension use. Not to mention that now her combos are easier than a drunken prom date.

I mean, she was always low-tier, low-tier, low-tier, with differcult combos.) Her Vertical Dolphin doing that vaccum really does gives her easy insane damage. And lol for Robo-Ky!
