I mean, Pot Buster FRC, and that garenteed Pot Loop is broken. (Reminds me of Mist Trap Johnny had in GGX, although definately not as broke as that) I mean, that Pot Loop, although it cost 50% tension, he gains alot by Heat Knuckle, and you can only get out like with Dead Angle or Burst from what I'm seeing. And oh yeah, Axl is definately High Med Tier. And Testament was always high med tier in Accent Core. (it just that it's getting more abusive) I think Order Sol is actually "dropping" in broken tier list. I mean, from what I'm seeing, yeah, Order Sol got the Manual Charge cancel and easy access to LV3 special/overdrive... but compared to some other broken crap the chars have.... not too sure. Of course, Eddie is still top tier IMO. Those new Eddie summon lock/trap/pressure is too much.
WUT Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Didn't see what was so top-broken-tier with HOS anyhow. Compared to some of the more insane things some characters got (Slayer j.2K loops and relaunches, Testament Badlans loop into Master of Puppets/setup, Eddie getting new unblockables and setups off of them, Jam's crazy new loopy wallstick combos just to name a few) HOS getting easier access Lvl3 and 2 decent pokes doesn't seem very broke at all, charge cancelling normals included. The vids that are coming out are just proving it more and more.

I guess people are starting to see that. Kind of a pity really, considering some people drop their mains in new games if they aren't "good". Millia is a good example. Alot of players dropped her from #R after Slash came out. Even Koichi switched to I-No. Although I hear he's picked her up again in AC.

Pinion Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I may be bit behind in noticing this, but in a recently posted Potemkin vs. Eddie match the Eddie player did an EX (?) move where the Eddie shadow spat out like a blob projectile while Potemkin was blocking the EX drill. The minute blob connecting Potemkin got hit. Is this unblockable or something? Or am I just seeing stuff? P.S. I'm loving the new Pot. His Tobasco sauce color is hot stuff!

IMO, this version of Axl is even more broken then GGXX version of Axl when everybody was screaming of Axl Bomber loop in corner way back when it first came out. Yeah, I'm agreeing that Order Sol should be dropped to high Med Tier. Testament/Axl/Baiken are definately better then HOS now people are figuring out more broken stuff. I saw A.B.A combo into keystab from moroha mode(ground combo), then right after she turns into normal mode, she does OTG keystab on potemkin and it COMBOS, making A.B.A go back into moroha. GOGOGOGO SCRUB UNBLOCKABLE FOR DAMAGESSSSSS LOOOL Discussing what I have seen in videos, I think everybody is A or B rank except for Eddie (potentially S, we'll see how the #Revival of Eddie turns out) and Dizzy (more like XX-Anji-tier). Honestly nobody stands out so much that I'd rank anybody S at this point, except possibly Eddie since he's Eddie but really good again, and we all know how that worked out the last few times. Eddie practically has his old damage output, new unblockables that seem to lead to more damage (plus more time off the clock to recharge your bar), freaking FB drill, and flying seems better again. Honestly though, I'm not seeing anything so broken from anybody that other characters' brokenness doesn't seem to stack up. Not nearly enough info to look at matchup stuff just yet though, and AC is definitely the kind of game where you can't just be like "whoa look how broken this character is, they must be top tier." So yeah, we'll see how matchups pan out. Also the sanctity of OTG state has no meaning anymore.

I don't know.....I've seen some Jam vids, and while that is true, I can safely assume there are quite a few ways around that if you know what you're doing. HOS I say is top only because Daisuke made it a point to make him a top tier character in this game. Eddie has been classified as a top tier since day one I believe, with all of his unblockable set ups. But, while all three are dangerous as hell in this game, I've seen matches with them VS Millia, and Millia mop the floor with them. Millia is probably going to end up B tier, which is far from S/A tier. They weren't scrubby players either.....they all looked like they had some skill.
