In the Buri video of the matches in the link I just posted: 1:14: (blocked) 2K~2P~HSB, f.S~HSR~FB roger rush. 2:50: (whiffed) HSB~HSR~HSB~HSR~HSB~HSR~Roger Hug 3:41: (blocked) 2P~HSB, f.S~HSR~Roger Hug I don't even know what to say except great midscreen safety and great corner pressure. I think I'll seriously just space around with AC Bridget until I get someone knocked down in a corner then bring out the Breddie.

Expect all the "Anji is bottom ranking" talk to be going away soon, he's gotten stronger in every run of vids, and is starting to look downright scary.

Well, that's domi-

he'd make D tier anji look good.

Actually more of the vids before domi had me excited, the main thing domi showed off was using FB butterfly as an OTG in the corner to force a shitty guessing game for the opponent (tech and get caught in air blockstun, or land and face unblockable).

Anji will deifnatly end up higher than D tier, easily.

Yes, Anji looks like he's getting better. I have to say the same for Millia as well. I think she may go a little higher up than her Slash listing, but I won't say it's for certain. The reason I say this is mainly due to her FB disc being as fabulous as it is, and the fact that she is much more of an immediate threat in that she need only ONE airpoke for possilbe ADC combo oppertunity, not to mention getting her #R throw incarnation. Her longer ground stun on pin is a nice addition as well, as I predict air to ground will become easier. Only major downfall I really see is that her pin air tech time is horribly nerfed now compared to Slash. However, I really see alot less reliance on her pin use for combos, and even then it's mainly used at the end for 6hs knockdown. So I see it being used mainly for lockdown/getting in. Her damage output is also back down to #R, so she no longer gets really "good" damage like she did in Slash, espcially considering her big 4(CH 2hs, j.d, 236s, 6hs) are no longer accounted for.

id say dizzy is looking a little better than i initially thought. (:vbang: ) I'd say she's about what she was in slash teir-wise but more fun with fishswitchin. and the fishes stay out if you get hit!!!!:yaaay:

Honestly millia's problem in AC isn't going to be her offense, but her defense. So many characters can produce 50%+ combos off a single hit for no, or little tension in accent core that millia's low defense means the opponent is never out of the match. One good CH can easily mean death for her due to the insane damage most characters can do now.

Yes, I've been quite surprised with Dizzy.

Well, Millia has ALWAYS had the threat of that CH=death in every game. Now she just has a few more options that she can work with, and is more of an immediate threat herself. Like her FB disc for instance. Corner wise, I've seen it interrupt Ky and Dizzy pressure why they were right on top of her. So it obviously activates very quickly.

No, I don't believe so, just VERY fast startup from what I can tell. It is said you can knock her out only within the first few frames, so that's why I assume no.

There is a major difference for AC though. In XX and #R when millia knocked you down, that was it, she had complete control and the threat of her being hit was so minor that it didn't matter that there were characters did extreme damage. In slash there are not near as many characters who have access to the easy 50% hits as there were in xx/#r (though don't get me wrong plenty of people can get heavy damage in slash).

In accent core she has an offense that's better than slash, but still not as sure fire as #R, and in exchange it's in a game where it seems almost every character has access to high damage, low tension combos off single hits (force breaks, abare, etc.). To me she seems like a character that will struggle in AC for big tourney wins. She'll definatly hurt people with the new offense, but knockdowns still aren't easy to come by, and her damage output has slowed, while one mistake will likely be fatal to her.

Interesting observation, at http://page.freett.com/takuan_mayship/movie.html in the Sol vs Ky match at about 4:08 Ky finishes an air combo with his VT and the followup and lands before sol. When sol lands and bounces Ky runs right through him to his other side. Not sure what this opens up for Ky if anything just thought it was interesting.

Oh I completely agree with you Klaige. I for one am going to try and get her a big tourney win at some point, or at least a top 5 finish once I "officially" hit the scene. Not saying I will, but I am going to try my damndest.

Also, her FB disc will start to activate after 4 frames, which means she has to be knocked out during her first 4 frames, otherwise the disc will activate regardless.

Really cool Testament loop. GD > web > GD > web .... Till the 30th hit the Grave Digger is set up in TK, next on are normal ones. For not making GD 1 hit maybe? Looks good.
