Don't worry, I can bullshit my way through this. *AHEM* It was purely mindgames and a cleverly deployed strategy made by Bang, which was for the Carl player to think that he can just tech whenever he wants and thinks that the Bang is a total dumbass, all before being caught in a tech roll by Bang's 6A as the cycle repeated. That, or it was just purely acting on the inability to think
Dreiko Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 The 6A reset against people not teching I can tolerate but the subsequent SMP thing into ashura made it seem like autopilot. Maybe he messed up the TK and got 623B but it still worked luckily or something. I refuse to accept someone able to confirm a 2B against a wakeup roll into 7k frkz combos can be so derp lol.

I am still pretty new to BlazBlue and I decided to pick Bang as my sub after picking Hazama as my main. I'm loving the game so far, but I'm still new to everything. Now that CP is coming out, I want to take BB more serious. So, do you guys have any help for a new Bang player?

Learn your gatlings, what is jump cancellable on block and what on hit, get accustomed to having an extra jump, get used to 6C consuming a jump, learn how the drives work and try to figure out how to manage your nail usage cause they're rather limited. Challenge mode also never hurts.

I would basically say get used to Bang's moves in general, how his gatlings work, what his nails are used for, getting various guardpoints down. Also, try to learn a bit of Bang's pressure, both in and out of Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan. Thats also another thing is to get used to FRKZ's movement, because Bang can dash cancel put of almost every single normal in his arsenal. So would say cp bangs pressure game is not as good as ex or cs? Its more stagger pressure than anything, sooooooo yeah.... not really as good as it was in CSE or CS in general

HoudiniJr100 Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Ikegami is a GREAT one. makes some cool bread and butters (as greek puts it, he knows how to butter toast), and some cool FRKZ antics. TSB|Dora is our Dustloop JP bang, pretty great too. Gao is another good one from what we saw of him so far.

And I'm sure vids of the challenges will be out before I even get a chance to post em but sure. :P

I'm sure I won't just figure out instantaneously stuff that JP people haven't after nearly a year with the game. Though of course I'll try. Oh and on the matter of the voice actor above which I forgot to talk about, I don't really know the english VAs so I wouldn't be able to tell if it was that Troy person or not. I can tell you the battle lines and stuff sure and I assume I'd be able to tell if Bang sounds like his old ingame self or not. I really don't know anything about the English cast so I'm not the best suited person to say if the actor is changed or not. I know the JP actor is the same and that's all I care for. He even sings the new FRKZ song lol.
