Also, should I be concerned as someone who will run brackets? I don't want to kill my voice calling out names, unless they're being called on the microphone

It might be necessary to call for players names since the setups/casuals location will be at the opposite side of the venue. But if they are nearby and called on speaker, they'll be sure to hear it unless they are deaf.
