BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I somewhat forget their relationship in the game/side stories. I know Trinity was part of the magic school girl club and pre-Hazama (I've forgotten his name) were close/in a relationship/friends or something like that before Terumi entered into the mix. Any sort of recap would probably help me get the comedy fine tuned to when I decide to tackle the subject. Not that my comics are 100% canon perfect, I just like to be accurate when I can. In a nutshell: Trinity loved Kazama, Terumi took him over to become Hazama, killed her and now Trinity's a loli. Oh an Nine took control of Hazama to before that. There's the whole Izayoi justice thing, Noel's new outfit, etc. etc.
Dawn of Musou Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 There's also the fact that Rachel told Izayoi to kill her if Ragna dies.
Shadow Draygon Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 I had to read up on the Izayoi plot to make sure it wasn't as retarded as I originally thought. Sadly, I was right. The plot twists in the BB game keeping getting dumber it seems. I haven't watch any plot videos but I could totally see Tsubaki when confronted with her friends that her "justice" is wrong going "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOR" Ã la Zero from Mega Man X4. But won't be able to do anything with New Noel or Izayoi anyways since the sprites aren't out yet.
Vulcan422 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 One possibility of the Continuum Shift could be Mu and Izayoi becoming a new Boundary Bros-esque team. Only this time they're more like Sentai (Power Rangers) heroes.
NumeroGaijin Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Glad to see Blazen back. Now I have a reason to check this thread.

Um... how is it retarded? It's sappy and cliche, yeah, but it's the most comprehensible part of the CP plot we know about right now. Though the fact you think she's going to be need to confronted about how her justice is "wrong" makes me think you've been reading up on it from the wrong places.
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Tsubaki's whole character is based around honor and justice. She has a strong bond for her friends and loves Jin/Hakuman. Yet all of these characters are rebelling against the NOL and she can't put two and two together to think "Hey, maybe my boss is evil...the one I've never seen and just have a weak family honor to uphold." And decided that all of her trusted friends and allies are dicks and decides they need to die for great justice. Magic spells or not from the Imperator that's just lazy writing to set Tsubaki to be a sub boss for the next game. Not to mention it has absolutely no lasting value after the plot is resolved, just needless fluff. BB has never had that stellar of a story with it's massive plot holes and anime cliches thick enough to stop a bullet it's no wonder I can make so many satiric stabs at it. But hey, fighting games had always had the bottom of the barrel writing anyways.

Izayoi's story is that Jin breaks her free from the Imperator's mind control and she decides she wants to protect her friends.
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Like I said, needless fluff. I'd like to see a new boss besides "girl goes evil and we slap her shit to make her not evil".
BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I'm not going to deny Blazblue's plot can get pretty terrible at times, but I really think everyone is giving Tsubaki a hard time. She grew up basically cut off from everyone and being told she needs to serve the NOL no matter what with Jin being her only friend until she went to the Academy. To Tsu, the NOL are the "righteous" ones and her friends defecting would seem wrong in her eyes, and she clearly didn't want to kill them as she was ordered too and let Noel go because of that. It wasn't until Hazama fed her half truths about the Alternate timeline where Noel didn't exist that she went off the deep end anyway.
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 I don't deny it's decent setup like how Hazama manipulated Tsubaki with the alternative timelines and got her to go after Noel, but that's really all it should of been I feel like. A simple short rival fight. It doesn't feel epic enough to use as end boss material and making an alternative character outfit/movelist for.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 But Izayoi is prototype Murokumo...and ya know, not the final boss...
Tokkan Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 But Izayoi is prototype Murokumo...and ya know, not the final boss... Well, there is no defined "Final Boss" in Chronophantasma. At least not until maybe the console version gives us one.
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 But Izayoi is prototype Murokumo...and ya know, not the final boss... By "final boss" I mean, main conflict resolution of the current plot/game. At this rate, Makoto will be a Murokumo unit.
Wild Candy Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 given that Beastkin were human creations... It's possible... (Alibeit very far fetched!)
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Every female character will be a body part of the Azure. They combine to form Mega-Aamaterasu Super Fighting Robot DX.

Eh, but the Tsubaki/Izayoi stuff isn't really the main conflict of the game. The plot seems more centred around Kushinada's Lynchpin/Bang's nail. The Izayoi stuff, while it might tie into the ending, comes across as a side plot.
mAc Chaos Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 By "final boss" I mean, main conflict resolution of the current plot/game. At this rate, Makoto will be a Murokumo unit. Relius already said she has plenty of hate in her soul~
Shadow Draygon Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 We'll see how to plot lays out when the console version comes out but I wouldn't hold my breath. Relius already said she has plenty of hate in her soul~ It's Relius best pick up line.
Starlight777 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Ignis must have been quite the hateful woman then lol.
Wild Candy Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 We'll see how to plot lays out when the console version comes out but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's Relius best pick up line. Hey, in his astral he traps Amane in cage meant for Japanese prostitutes and ties up Bullet with red duct tape... Makoto calls him a creeper in her Particle Flare super, and in her Help Prof Kokonoe segment, after Makoto had memories peeked at by Relius. Kokonoe goes as far to say. "So the masked creeper was bad-touching you're brain meats huh?"
