Persona 4 Arena XBL Team Tournament (July 27th, 2013 @ 3pm EST)

Hey guys, MastaToken here.

For the month of July, I want to run a Persona 4 Arena team tournament. Rules are pretty straight forward.

- Form a 3 man team (Not going to force a character per team rule as there is only 12 characters in the game)

- Nominate a Team leader as their duties include

- Collecting the GT of their teammates

- Making sure their team is present when the tournament starts

- Being present in the irc chat during the duration of the tournament

- Not providing a Challonge link as I'll be entering everything in myself to make things easier.

- Comment down below saying who is on your team along with your team name (I'll be making a list this time with GT so I'm not taking 5 years to find GT or people)

If it comes down to it and people want to enter but don't have enough for a 3 man team, I'll enter myself and scrub it out.

i think this would be a lot more interesting if people were teamed up based on their character. For instance, Team mitsuru vs Team narukami. people watching the stream that do play those characters could have a better chance at picking up some tricks from whoever's playing.

then the 3 people on each team would play for 1st, 2nd & 3rd spots. winner plays last. (best for last) ?

I saw it in a guilty gear vid; Team I-No vs Team Johnny. I thought it was a great idea

I think it be more interesting to watch as opposed to just picking people. no offense, kurumster

what do you guy's think?

I am thinking about hosting tournaments in the future with special stipulations and what not but for the 1st team tournament, I just want to keep everything simple.

If you want to do character-based teams, they should just be exhibitions, not tournament. I'd hate for someone to be excluded from a tourney because they play an uncommon character like Naoto or Teddie.
