Say, what if in order to keep Sin's Gear nature hidden (and to avoid questions about a missing eye in long-term), Ky asked Faust to surgically switch their left eyes with each other?

Ky might have gotten his Gear powers from the left eye over the years.

Well he f**ked up seeing as Sin already has Gear powers, was brainwashed into fighting for Valentine, and...well, the red eye is on him. 3 chances for his cover to be blown, much less heavily scrutinized, on the chance a number people see what's going on and draw suspicion; one of which will, hilariously enough, have people peg Ky to be a Gear after all this time, putting his kingship and trust with Illirya in jeopardy.

And say that Sin only has that one red eye, because he doesn't have one on his left, that means he has heterochromia, meaning the red eye is inherently noticeable. It wouldn't be something that Ky can just turn on and off. And don't say he cloaked it because we don't know that either. Not to mention he has his own eyepatch which is much easier to cover up suspicion on its own.

Bedman:

As Zato said in the story, his victories over the powerhouses like Sol and Slayer is a result of his Dream Powers, which are a lot less threatening once they are figured out.

So he becomes less threatening when his gimmicks are discovered... just like in the actual game? Hah!

I hope Guilty Gear doesn't go down that herr-derr Naruto route of obtaining Gear powers through eye transplants. It just seems like the "easiest way out" story-writing wise to me.

So, since now I'm seeing that no one has said this already, I'm the only one that thinks that Ariels is Bedman's client? Unless the Library says otherwise, it seemed quite obvious to be that way.

I still think the biggest revelations are about the beginning and the end of Justice. These are some heavy reveals.

Originally in pretty much all the side material, it pretty much says Japan was disintegrated by Justice when she first was activated because she feared them. As it turns out, That Man activated the Gamma Ray remotely to prevent some sort horrific being from the Backyard from manifesting in the material world. Aria herself had little control in the matter but was still horrified because she thought she was still responsible for what happened.

And concerning the end of her "life", Zato reveals the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament took place as a way to arrange for get Justice out of her dimensional prison and for Sol to finally take her out. So now we can now assume that is why the Post-War Administration Bureau converted Testament into a Gear and had him cause the events of GG1: for the Conclave to gain control of Justice's incredibly powerful body.

I was kinda thinking about that since I remember Bedman was introduced as either an assassin or someone who was assigned to be doing...whatever it is he was doing.

The story ending (after credits) shows that Ariels is in fact Bedman's client. However Ariels' face is not shown, only her back. Maybe her face resembles someone important?

My memory is kind of fuzzy but was Justice and That Man ever working together? Like in the past before she got defeated by Sol, or was Justice always out doing her own thing not taking order from anyone.

Xrd does make me think that That Man and Justice were not working togerher, not during the Crusades anyway. I'm not convinced Justice was acting fully on her own though - maybe the Universal Will had something to do with it.

Do Sin and Ephelt have Arcade Mode story?

For :ELP: nope, and I assume the same for :SIN: (unless otherwise noted) and also for when Leo comes out too, but who knows.

Because if my girlfriend told me she had acquired syphilis my first reaction would not be, "I MUST FIND THE CURE!"

Sheesh, I guess GG really is Giant Robo inspired (note: Yasuhiro Imagawa). Or Xrd, in any case.

TP Infection stands for Too Pure.

I believe this.

Also I believe that Leo has so many amazing reaction faces specifically for the time when Ky introduces his wife to him. And his mother-in-law. :gonk:

Re-read the post, it's about Ky introducing his relatives to Leo.

I would love to see Ky's reaction to

Even though it's not official and we really don't know but certain evidence does suggest it, Sol being Dizzy's father lol. That would make him Ky's father in law and Sin's actual Grandpa.
