If I remember correctly since he was a child he was super human after all he survived 5 years alone in a world infested with gears. So perhaps he was half gear or at least part gear since birth. And also perhaps the Aria that was used for justice was the original. She most have been merged with gear cells since Frederick ran away or cryopreserved since I don't think a gear can have TP.

Blade Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Ky had a mother at one point according to Xtra Manga (which may or may not be canon), but she was killed by Gears I guess. He met Tyr and then Kliff, Kliff tells him to survive for so many years, he does and THEN joins the Sacred Order for proper training under Kliff. Surviving isn't that hard, actually, just avoid the mobs. It's fighting that made him an even better survivor... as for the "being Gear from Birth theory" that's not true at all, given how weak he was over the years compared to Sol beating him every time (even when Sol stole the Fireseal). Ky was strong enough to fight Gears evenly, yes, but he wasn't strong enough to fight Sol on even terms. And he just barely managed to fight Justice. If Ky had to fight Justice again, or even the Valentines, I doubt he'd win (as a human at least).

Valentine also would've attempted to do the same thing. Also, if Ky was a Gear, he would've been a full adult in only a few short years, as is the case with Dizzy and Sin. But as the Guilty Gear Xtra manga and his character profiles have indicated, he grew up at a normal pace. Everyone's always identified him as human, including Sol(and he would know better than anyone if someone was a Gear). Whatever his left eye is about, it likely has something to do with Sin since he wore an eyepatch over his eye in the Overture short stories much like Sin's. Heck, going by what Ky stated to Axus after the Red Eye reveal, he may have gained it from some experiment he partook in. Let's just wait until Revelator comes out before going too crazy with the speculation.

juan2ce Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I also thought it was a far shot, but I wanted to point it out as a possibility and see what you thought of it since I have only played the games I don't know nearly as much info as you guy. And I also thing it has something to do with Sin's eye since if I remember correctly it's the opposite eye to the one Sin has the eyepatch on. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Not to mention most Gears have a seal mark on their forehead or somewhere else... which we haven't seen on Ky or Sin yet (Dizzy's is very obscure, and we haven't seen Testament's yet or Paradigm's either for that matter). Justice had a special Seal in particular that supposedly Solaria and her sister Marina* inherited... but we don't have many details on that. *Marina inherited the seal but it wasn't found on Solaria, despite the fact Marina is full human and only tied to her Gear-converted sister as a fraternal Twin sibling.

Not exactly a credible source, but these match with the stuff people are posting on Twitter... So, I don't think these details are made-up. My main information source is this post. Other stuff is picked from random posts that I'm too lazy to track... Stuff: * Aria confirmed as material body for Justice. Seems like Sol didn't know about that. * Jack-O' has Justice contained within her, but "only the half of her". (Other half might be Elphelt?) * Referred as "Jack O' Valentine" during the Story * Jack-O' wears a mask because she has the same face as Aria. * Old memories swell up into Jack-O' when she sees Sol, but those aren't Aria's memories... * Her personality is unstable. That's the reason why she sometimes acts childish and licks a lollipop. * Sol is currently suffering because of "The Flame of Corruption" within his body. * Bedman sleeps because his "engine(=body)" would overload if he moved awake. * Chronos actually couldn't fully fuse with Justice before they were ripped apart. (Faust's story) * New characters "Raven" and "Tuner" (調律師, Chouritsushi) * Raven stands in the battle stages during the events like Sin did in Arcade Mode before. (Pretty much a complete character?) * Raven is apparently travelling with Sol, Sin and Ram. * "Tuner" is always referred with her name written in kanji. She wears Japanese clothing and has a bell hanging above her boobs. Is apparently friends with Johnny. * "Tuner" appears in both Leo's and Faust's stories. Probably in Johnny's too, but hasn't been tested... * Leo's story outright states that it's only been "few days" since -SIGN- ending. Final boss in Leo's Story is Ky who's RTL is apparently as fast as Zansei Rouga and moves to three direction like Sin's... EDIT: * Elphelt is sheltered within Bedman's dream. * Faust and Chronos are on their way to Colony to meet "Tuner". * "Tuner" is something like a doctor? She says that the body temperature of Japanese keeps rising by 0.002 celcius degrees regardless of their other diseases or the temperature outside. * Faust says that the Japanese within Colony have their the symptoms proceeded too far. The treatment they receive can't be used on May. Sol/Sin/Ram/Leo/Jack-O/I-No/Bedman apparently have Story that's pretty much the same. (Hunting Jack-O') Johnny/May/Faust/Leo have a Story that's pretty much the same. (Learning about Japanese) Still no details what kind of Story does Millia/Zato/Potemkin/Chipp/Axl/Slayer/Venom have... He's a new character because he hasn't appeared in "Xrd series" before and has a new polygon model, eh? Anyway, people refer to him as "Raven" (レイヴン) so most likely the same character. No one has yet to post any details about his appearance. And, yes. Japanese fans who are posting comments to JBBS are just as surprised as you are...

The only thing that doesn't add up to me is that Sol didn't know that Justice was Aria. I don't know from where, but I was pretty certain it was at least hinted that he knows that. Anyway, if all this info appears in the arcade release, then maybe the consoles will get the game sooner than expected (I'd be content with them just upgrading the arcade mode to this, and maybe including a bonus chapter for story like BB does it with Extend releases).

He was supossed to know about Justice being Aria from the his AC ending (as Order Sol), where we get to see that him finally beated Justice and she remembers Sol and the Gear Project.
Clousephinat Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Let's hope that I-No is not also another Valentine since her personality is also hinted to be somehow unstable and now that is confirmed that's the case with Jack O' and is also a Valentine... I think Daisuke is putting the whole thing regarding Valentines a little too far if so, I'd like to believe that he has plans to add more than just more and more Valentines to fill up the story. I'm guessing that That Man doesn't know about Jack O' being a Valentine since he doesn't really have much info regarding them, and if he does then Jack O' must be the same as confused as him or she's hiding something, but then again I don't think That Man knows much about them apart from their activites together in the first place.

I wonder how much idea sharing Daisuke and Mori do as this is entering Murakumo levels of silliness. I half-expect Dizzy to be retconed into being a Valentine at this rate.

She does seem to have the same eyes as Aria though, at least according to the first generation Valentine her eyes were red.
