Were there any lobby characters in CP that weren't playable in the game itself?

 

There were some DLC lobby characters from Xblaze and Magical Beat, so it is possible that there is room for DLC/nonplayable characters (Dojima, Nanako, etc.).

Just to double check, when they talk about avatars, do they mean icons or characters? Sorry if it seems like the answer would be obvious.

I'm no expert, but if it's like the Blazblue lobbies, the avatars are characters. Perhaps like the blazblue lobbies, there will be potential the customize the color of your avatar, like:

That's about all that can be surmised from the Blazblue info without going into wild speculation.

... Oh, I just noticed that the DLC was for Persona 3 style Aigis (which is really lame DLC, since the differences with P3 Aigis and P4A Aigis are really minimal) and not for Aigis in general. That is what caused some confusion with me.

Let's not assume anything for now and return back to the image if it turns out to be true or not. I think the last DLC character should be Theodore or Reaper to balance out the roster, but I really like Margaret so I wouldn't mind.

This is certainly not the kind of news I was expecting at 2:00 AM that's for sure. But hopefully we will know more about this soon. Strangely, I am not disappointed considering who I was expecting but more intrigued.

Having Margaret randomly there... would only mean one thing. Especially with Marie there too. Margaret IS P4's Liz so. It's not that surprising. They seem to want to get the best of both worlds in this game and wrap everything up. Was expecting Undead Minato for the final character. Dunno why I didn't consider Margaret

Alright, so here's the deal: The P4AU Atlus tour started a few hours ago in Japan, where players will be able to play the console version of the game at select locations, much like Atlus USA was doing with Anime Expo, E3, Evo and stuff (and much like Atlus Japan did with Persona Q). Players who participate in this event will get an A5 clear file with art from P4AU. Where I found those images initially were randomly from Twitter, coinciding with the event being held and possibly being the A5 clear file in question. Who knows if it's fake or not at this point.

I could be that they don't want to spoil Marie and Margaret by not having that version of the card be visible on the website. It could be very well made fake. Who knows for now, and again, better drop it off before mods get mad.

The way the cover art is organized, you shouldn't even have to question it in the first place--of course that's fake. You never take any info on Twitter without a grain of salt, so to speak.

No. This isn't pointless, baseless speculation like your Reaper stuff, this is actual news. Margaret and Marie are actually appearing on A5 clear files being given by Atlus at their event. This is looking more real than not.

Okay, this is pretty much confirmed to be true if Famitsu and 4gamer can post a proof of it. So yeah. Just don't go too overboard when discussing about this since we don't even know anything about how Margaret would even play.

I won't yell unless it's pointless and baseless and dumb. When somebody says something and people go "oh it's totally happening, let's fuss about it with each other" sure. A lot of that is pointless and people just say wild shit like "it has to be MC cause x reason" or speculate to the point of total uselessness. When an actual image of a character leaks onto something which contains only known playable chars, it's worth pointing out that there's something weird going on. As long as people don't fuss and just stick with what we actually know it's fine.

What we know is there's an official promo art with Margaret on it that only contains other playable characters. It sticks out as weird and is worth pointing out. Don't just assume she's in the game though until something is revealed(or not revealed) and all that.

I really doubt they can really write it off like they did with "More to come" message. With that, they could have easily put up as "slip of a tongue" and hide it as just referencing the pre-order message. Here, they had to have made the clear files to have that artwork and given them out. So it must have been intentional.

 

Anyway, I hope that we get more lobby character DLC on the line. We know that there are more of them than the four empty slots on the current screen showed us.
