***EVENT RULES & GUIDELINES****

Introduction
Welcome to Season 1 of the XBL Persona 4 Arena Ranbat Series! This five week event will give those looking for a chance to elevate their game or prepare for local/offline tournaments a platform to sharpen their skill.

What's a Ranbat? It's an event where seed points are awarded to each player per tournament. Once all qualifying tournaments are done, the top 8 participates enter a single elimination tournament for title of P4A Ranbat Champion.

Prizes Awarded At The End of The Season

1st Place can elect to get one of the 3 prizes below:

-T-Shirt of their choice from Sanshee

-T-Shirt of their choice from Brokentier

-$30 Amazon Gift

2nd Place gets a $10 Amazon Gift Card

Basic Info & Point Structure

When: September 17th, 2013 @ 9pm EST [Tuesday]

Stream: Jaguarfan Stream

Brackets: http://challonge.com/P4AR3 (will be updated, once tourney starts)

Check-Ins: Starts 8:30pm EST in the mibbit IRC chatroom (see Event Communication for chat details)

Player Limit: None

Format: Single Entry, Double Elimination, Best 2 of 3 Matches until Grand Finals which is 3 of 5 Matches

Character Lock: Winner is locked, but loser can switch characters.

Player Region Lock: Anyone in the US East Coast/Central or Canada can Enter. West Coast Players can also enter, with a verified connection

Point structure:

1st = 10

2nd = 7

3rd = 5

4th = 2

Participation = 1

Events will be held bi-weekly every Tuesday, unless noted otherwise.

Disconnection Policy
- The player causing d/c will forfeit 1 match.

-If the DC'ing player does not return in 10 minutes, the set is forfeited.

-Contact me on IRC if you have any disputes ASAP

-Since this is netplay, hiccups between connections may happen.

Event Communication
1: Go to http://mibbit.com/

2: Scroll to the bottom. Click the yellow button marked "Still interested? Chat now"

3: Connect should be to "Mibbit [webirc]"

4: Nick should be your DUSTLOOP ACCOUNT NAME

5: Channel = #XBLP4AR

Please login for check-in at 8:30PM EST, so that I can setup brackets and helps get the tournament started on time. All I need a simple message saying you're present.

I get done with babysitting at 8:30 p.m. EST on Tuesdays at the latest, so there's a small, small chance I might not be able to log into the IRC until a few minutes after. If worse comes to worst, I'll just use my phone to post in the thread until I can show up. But that's only my contingency plan - I don't expect to be late.

Also, i'd sign up for this one but this is the same day #gtav will be released... so i may not participate.

Player list has been updated and look forward to more signups :) Looking for one other person to do commentary w/ me and Omex for tomorrow. Will probably talk a lot about TFC.

GGs guys, I'll try not to get Cross Slashed as much next time lol.... but maybe I'll land an EX mirror combo on stream instead of dropping it like I did vs Omex :P.

Can't promise anything vs Tectal though, I need to grind that MU and have more patience.
