Wait they pronounce it Arakne? Wtf! Arak-une or A-ra-ku-ne, Isn't that hard to get away from "Aracoone". Arakne? He's not a straight up spider though. Don't worry I'm not ranting at you guys now, the fact that the "official" voice cast does this bothers me much, much more.
Shadow Draygon Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 After too much delay from the last two VAs I've been waiting on, I decided to replace them for the roles of Hakumen and Tao with myself and Emma filling in. So all the voice work is finished and the project is blasting off to be fully finished! about 90% complete already and should be ready for public viewing as soon as this weekend if all goes well!

It felt to me like the volume of Emma's lines should've been toned down a bit: each time I turned the volume down on Youtube, Ragna or Hazama said something I couldn't make out, so I made it louder, only for Noel to grate my ears in the next scene. Though maybe that was intentional?..

Tao was recorded with the newer mic, so I'm not sure if those same issues are present, but if they aren't, it shouldn't happen again hopefully? Apologies for making your eardrums explode, however.

You're clearly having the most fun with Hazama there Shadow Draygon. Though, maybe it was just me, but it felt like Daggertail100 wasn't as comfortable with Ragna's lines as he was with Jin's. The lack of background sound is also something that I found to be a bit of a weakness. A good professor of mine once taught me that while the audience can look past bad animation and editing, they cannot do the same for sound quality. For instance, the part with Ragna in the elevator works wonders because of the music playing, but makes a lot of the other scenes without some music in it really come across flatter than they actually are. However, I also understand that adding music to the video would also have at least doubled your workload so don't think I am criticizing simply to find fault. As said, the material is good and you're clearly having a blast here so I'd love to see what you got in store for the next episode. Edited December 13, 2013 by Luminos564
