Toxin45 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 You have to get the fact straight that she has always been in control of Saya's body. The only thing that's a hindrance to her is the fact Saya's feelings that lingered in the vessel mixed with Izanami which make her do things that she wouldn't do normally (Ex. If Saya's feelings and such didn't mix, Izanami would have killed Ragna and Celica already) Just imagine if Izanami was in her true form and she be like a female slender in a kimino except undead like.
Shinhwa Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Just imagine if Izanami was in her true form and she be like a female slender in a kimino except undead like. Uh... no I would just say she is like a spirit like how Terumi was...
Toxin45 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Uh... no I would just say she is like a spirit like how Terumi was... She is a goddess there's a difference if her Imperator form is playable then in the next game Izanami her true form would be playable she would be an eldritch Abomination like her persona counterpart with an add of Creepy Awesome.

Shinhwa Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Just because the same name is used, doesn't mean they would look-alike or anything....
kylehyde Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Back in CS Takamagahara mentioned that Ragna was the origin, do they elaborate on this in CP? I mean origin of what? The BB?
harmless kitten Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Well considering the fact Toya or Ragna can turn into a full Black Beast and destroy the world without fusing in bad ends, I guess it doesn't always have to be a fusion...? Touya isn't called a Black Beast, no? For Ragna, he's explicitly called a heartless beast by Hakumen. Heartless referring to no Murakumo Unit. They turn into humanoid "beasts," but they don't become the highly destructive eight-headed serpents we all know and love.
Shinhwa Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Back in CS Takamagahara mentioned that Ragna was the origin, do they elaborate on this in CP? I mean origin of what? The BB? Nope that's what I want to know too. Why he is called origin and such and why he is compared to the Susano'o unit and whatnot. Touya isn't called a Black Beast, no? If I remember correctly... Ragna destroyed the entire world pretty much in his CS Bad End...

Well Touya was called "The Beast" if I remember correctly. If I remember correctly... Ragna destroyed the entire world pretty much in his CS Bad End... Yeah, Touya is called Beast (has the kanji's 闇の獣(Beast of Darkness) but is called as the english beast). What happened in the Beast of Darkness ending is: Ripper hangs Hinata with chains on a roof and Touya and Kuon arrives there. Ripper cuts the chain and Hinata falls to the ground. Touya's grimoire goes berserk and Touya completely devourers Ripper and Kuon. Es finds Hinata breathing and Unomaru orders her to try to use Hinata to calm Touya down. A week passes and all traces of Touya and Es is gone, however there is a new problem. Something black is walking around the city and is attacking people with a black mist and leaves nothing behind it's victims. Sechs finds the Beast and first calls it Touya only to later understand that it has already fully become the Beast. Sechs kills the Beast and finds something inside of it.
harmless kitten Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 If I remember correctly... Ragna destroyed the entire world pretty much in his CS Bad End... I don't think it's really likely. Jubei says that this war won't last as long since humanity has ars magus, and I doubt that Hakumen sat on his ass while the Beast destroyed the world. Kagutsuchi, yes. The world, no. I think it's more likely that Ragna killed and devoured Jin, then went to town on the inhabitants of Kagutsuchi. I think Rachel was just talking about that specific possibility being eradicated because it wasn't a favorable shift.

Kokonoe actually tells Ragna in the "Save me, Dr. Kokonoe" that he destroyed Kagutsuchi and the entire world though o_o
Toxin45 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) Kokonoe actually tells Ragna in the "Save me, Dr. Kokonoe" that he destroyed Kagutsuchi and the entire world though o_o Well Toya is called the origin and Ragna is called the Origin so that would imply something there is a reason why Ragna maid a cameo in XBlaze as if it's foreshadowing. Also out of curiosity did Litchi rejoin the good guys? Also what happened to Carl and Bang? Also check this out BlazBlue Chronophantasma Story Maniacs Material Collections. It's a databook basically. So Carl saves Relius because he needs him alive to save Ada. Bang activates Kushinada's Lynchpin with his gloves and nail.

Zedar90 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 So Litchi joined a reformed nol. No, she is together with Carl and Relius (and Arakune?). Relius has lost all his willpower and his going to at least keep his promise with Carl and teach Carl his knowledge so that Carl can restore/rebuild Ada, and Litchi only went with them.

Do you think that Ragna and Toya are the same I mean Toya carries the grimore of Origin and Ragna is referred to as the origin. Also Toya could be inside Ragna seeing has he has a soul he's not familiar with. Also his voice and apperance to Sechs is that he could be a clone but with Toya's soul inside him but the thing is that he has blonde hair when Ragna was little I think he either got that from Achit or Sechs when he was young. Also I think Achits and Sechs's DNA was also used to create Jin and Saya but how did Jin get the power of order is anthor story and Saya was clearly ment to be a vessel for Izanami but Jubei stop it for awhile. But Izanami possessed her anyway at the end.

Could Ragna and Touya be the same? Hard to say since I have no idea how connected the Xblaze and Blazblue are supposed to be. However Touya saying things like that at the end of the future he is going to meet Es again, and the line in the lyrics of the Ending theme "TRUTH": "Even if ours time of departure disappears. As long as we desire for a future we will meet again" could hint that Touya will be reincarnated. The whole thing about the name for Grimoire of Origin. I believe it was changed to Origin(原初) instead of "Original Book"(原書) so that they were similar but not the same so it would lead to discussion. Another reason for Origin could be simply that it is a grimoire that comes from the "Age of Origin"(原初の時代) that Nine mentioned in the Phase Shift series. Sechs having the same Voice actor as Ragna could be because of the fact that they were from the same series of artificial humans, and it's not said whatever Sechs hair has always been white. Acht I have a feeling is completely unrelated to Ragna. Saya I would believe is 1st prime field (thanks to this image:http://i.imgur.com/9oCSxHi.jpg). And if Izanami is the priestess of Azure, the blood of Amanohokosaka was used by Unomaru in the Es project so the prime fields could be somewhat similar to the Priestess of Azure on a biology level and thus become a fine vessel for her.

I guess if the creators are lazy a lot of it can just be chalked up to reincarnation. Important Xblaze characters reincarnated into the current cast of Blazblue. But if I'm not mistaken, wasn't Ragna's remark about him having someone else's soul just an English translation error. I don't think he says that in the original Japanese dialogue.

Not Noel or anything else, it's only a Doll. The same as you Ragna. A created doll. Ragna: ... you Bastard. Terumi: hmm? Those eyes, so you already knew. It's probably that cat that taught you, how boring. and Mu: I´m, I´m, I´m not a human being... Doll, Doll Ragna: Quite! Not a Human being? What about it! I have also an created body! I don't even know whose soul it is! However I'm a person, an human being!!

Zedar90 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I think it's more Soul transfer than actual reincarnation. Soul Transfer, Reincarnation, in the end they are the same thing. Since in Blazblue universe there seems to be two places the Memories is stored, in the brain and in the soul.

Indeed so it's more artificial reincarnation as the scientists somehow got Toya's soul and Ragna is the body while Toya is the soul somehow I think Toya would appear in the next game as a true form of sorts to Ragna or at least an alternate version of him. could be the same with Akira being Reincarnated as Jin/Hakumen and Soichiro being Terumi/Hazama. Can you think of anyone who is reincarnated?

I would only think that Touya would be incarnated (the whole thing with the only way for him to atone his sin is to continue to live), If Unomaru is Terumi it's hard to call that incarnation since he seems to still have all his memories.

Your Right since he is a ghost so I guess he was turned into one by Izanami as a "proxy" of sorts and maid him a new body called Yuuki Terumi.
