  1. Not a big thing? This is probably one of the biggest deals to me. I grinded that nonstop on release and was disappointed to find out you couldn't do it normally, but it actually being possible now opens up so many new routes and better cost efficiency when extending combos for more damage.
  2. Don't lose faith, it will happen one day. It's going to be the last good thing to happen to this franchise, but it will be real.
  3. It's more practical to generalize and say that magic from GG works in BB too(and vice-versa). Or else you could argue all sorts of setting differences, and that is a big waste of time.
  4. I don't know, most people are good at what they do, and Ragna isn't really good at anything. It's fairer to compare Sol to what we will become, and Ragna to what we used to be. That being said, it was already brought up that most of the plot in GG has to be fixed through ways other than Sol beating the crap out of everyone. I really don't get the problem with him being so ridiculously OP when it hardly has as much effect on the plot as it could have. I find his struggles much more interesting than Ragna's for that and other reasons.

  8. We can probably ignore HP for such a comparison because GG chars have 420 HP and BB chars have variables between 9000 and 13000. It's much easier and fairer to compare if we take the MUGEN solution and give them equivalent HP numbers. The thing between Sol and Ragna is that despite system mechanics, Sol has better frame data, a more complete design and overall better tools. In story, Sol is also overpowered to the point the story has to adjust itself to make sure problems have to be fixed through means other than brute strength, because otherwise he would do everything by himself. I'm not going to say the result will be Sol winning with 100% accuracy, mainly because Death Battle clearly has a good amount of favoritism going for certain results, but the odds are definitely stacked against Ragna.
  9. On the other hand, GG chars deal around 50% damage of the enemy's HP if they hit them at full HP, and 90% of their ground stuff is air unblockable. They also become ridiculously harder to kill the lower they HP is. Also, Sol's frame data is infinitely better than Ragna's. Can't act like only one game's mechanisms are in effect, bro.

Only tested on Narukami and there are probably much better combos, but it's just too fun to bounce people around like this.
  11. 6B already caused Wallstick before. It also used to do more damage than 5C to begin with. The reason it wasn't used despite being faster is because it had worst proration, and the only reason I can imagine 6B is being used now is because they buffed the P2 to match 5C's, making it the superior option.
  12. It's a mixed bag. Easier follow ups on corner, mid-screen RC routes are gone. Thankfully we can still combo into BHS. Don't know about the other two, mostly dropped BB but Azrael news have been kind of finnicky in general to begin with.
  13. It only works on CH, so it isn't very reliable unless you know it's gonna work.
