Zedar90 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Yeah, what is known is that Izanami have a hard time being around Terumi due to Saya, that is all. That she didn't kill Ragna was only a thought/theory from Terumi, nothing more. Izanami even denied it saying that it was not her fault that Ragna was still alive and it wasn't her duty to kill him. Sure the reason that Izanami want to have Ragna by her side could be because of Saya, but don't jump to conclusion just yet. And not kill Celica? Where was this? She only ignored Celica as far as I can remember.
raziel12 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Probably thought he does mention someone's soul inside him giving him life 0_0 i dont remember that where was that mention
Zedar90 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 0_0 i dont remember that where was that mention Toxin is likely talking about this: No, here is what I translated earlier from the Japanese version about the whole thing: Terumi: That is "Kusanagi"! Not Noel or anything else, it's only a Doll. The same as you Ragna. A created doll. Ragna: ... you Bastard. Terumi: hmm? Those eyes, so you already knew. It's probably that cat that taught you, how boring. and Mu: I´m, I´m, I´m not a human being... Doll, Doll Ragna: Quite! Not a Human being? What about it! I have also an created body! I don't even know whose soul it is! However I'm a person, an human being!! It's only a little badly worded. Having a soul in Blazblue is very important since the world of Blazblue is like a very complex "computer simulation", so what makes one a real "person" is the soul.
Shinhwa Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 And not kill Celica? Where was this? She only ignored Celica as far as I can remember. Well... it wasn't really ignored, it was more like Izanami was questioning why Celica was existing in the world when she should be dead, then after Celica questioned if Phantom was Nine, Izanami had Phantom teleport themselves, but I guess this could be considered "ignored" in a way? And well... considering Celica has bothersome powers, Izanami may as well could have killed Celica but maybe she didn't due to Saya's influence or because of Phantom, but not too sure on this one.

raziel12 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 makes you wonder did Ragna have a soul to begin with or was just a shell and i also so think its not a coincidence that the Murakumo units not mention its appearance was named after a legacy weapon that later might have played a part in the last development of prime fields. not to mention the Vow Crystal Seal Blade: Murakumo true abilities was never know besides it destroyes Union crystals i think all legacy weapons are able to do that and Ragna seem to share the same fate as Sechs as in the "Shared Existance" fate to suffer injuries from other timelines to Sechs it was due to his Legacy weapon - Manifestation Demolition Blade: Kusanagi and ragna its due to his upgraded Azure Gremiore

So far, Izanami killed no one in person. She did not killed Hakumen, Jubei, Noel and Jin, yet for unknown reason you want her to kill Celica.
Toxin45 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 So far, Izanami killed no one in person. She did not killed Hakumen, Jubei, Noel and Jin, yet for unknown reason you want her to kill Celica. Well again due to Saya (or at least parts of her) and Terumi breaking her holding her back.
Calamitus Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Well again due to Saya (or at least parts of her) and Terumi breaking her holding her back. I guess her status of goddess allows her to not pay attention on mortal bugs under foot. Maybe you will use your awesome logic and tell me why Saya does not interferes in plans of Izanami to destroy Amaterasu or consume souls of whole humanity.

Well yeah your right about that looks down on mortals but still her interest in Ragna is quite curious.I guess Izanami fixed up her "Saya" problem.
VermilionBird Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Well, Celica is bound to end up with Rags before she dies anyway :')
Shinhwa Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Remember Terumi broke izanami's vessel could be the reason though. That's can't even be a reason for her actions =.= Are you sure you are paying attention to things right? makes you wonder did Ragna have a soul to begin with or was just a shell and i also so think its not a coincidence that the Murakumo units not mention its appearance was named after a legacy weapon that later might have played a part in the last development of prime fields. not to mention the Vow Crystal Seal Blade: Murakumo true abilities was never know besides it destroyes Union crystals i think all legacy weapons are able to do that and Ragna seem to share the same fate as Sechs as in the "Shared Existance" fate to suffer injuries from other timelines to Sechs it was due to his Legacy weapon - Manifestation Demolition Blade: Kusanagi and ragna its due to his upgraded Azure Gremiore We don't know how much connection concepts from XBLAZE connects to the current concepts of Blazblue. Sure the names are the same and abilities are similar but we don't know if the concept itself connects together. So far, Izanami killed no one in person. She did not killed Hakumen, Jubei, Noel and Jin, yet for unknown reason you want her to kill Celica. PLOT ARMOR Well again due to Saya (or at least parts of her) and Terumi breaking her holding her back. ..................... Are you sure you are reading this right? I guess her status of goddess allows her to not pay attention on mortal bugs under foot. Maybe you will use your awesome logic and tell me why Saya does not interferes in plans of Izanami to destroy Amaterasu or consume souls of whole humanity. That can't be explained by anyone really... We don't even know if the real Saya herself still lives inside the vessel or if the soul has escaped into Noel's body while Izanami is the only one that remains in the vessel but the original memories, feelings and influence of Saya that lingered in the vessel are getting in the way. Well yeah your right about that looks down on mortals but still her interest in Ragna is quite curious.I guess Izanami fixed up her "Saya" problem. No she did not. She still haven't fixed her Saya problem but it has improved somewhat since before she didn't really mind getting called "Saya", but now she doesn't want to be called that anymore. Well, Celica is bound to end up with Rags before she dies anyway :') The question remains the amount of time her life span remains considering she used tons of it after releasing her limiter, although her life span should have multiplied a bit now that seithr is gone, but it doesn't mean the amount she used before will return :/ The math would be: (Amount of Life span she had since her creation by Kokonoe) - (Amount of Life span she had been drained of due to her Power of Order that negates seithr being active all the time) - (Amount of Life span that were drained off her when she released her limiter) = Current Life Span But then you have to consider that since seithr is gone, her life span should have multiplied. So... Current Life span x (What amount?) = True Current Life span. Edited January 7, 2014 by Shinhwa

Shinhwa Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 One thing I became curious about. It seems that Jin is getting random pains all of a sudden (See Episode 3 if you aren't sure what I am talking about). What is causing this? Yukianesa?
Luminos564 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 One thing I became curious about. It seems that Jin is getting random pains all of a sudden (See Episode 3 if you aren't sure what I am talking about). What is causing this? Yukianesa? Maybe he's receiving more and more strength from the Power of Order now that we know Haku-men is slowly being erased from the current timeline? Or maybe Jin's powers are simply growing a lot faster to counteract Ragna's own? He is supposed to be the Anti-body, the Order to his Chaos, but his body may not be able to handle the increase at such a rapid pace.

Shinhwa Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Well Haku and Jinny are the same people maybe he also feels hakumen's pain now that he is fading away. I doubt that's the case...
Toxin45 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Out of Curiosity do you have a Xblaze character's drive list?I need to see how many characters have it. Edited January 7, 2014 by Toxin45
kylehyde Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Jin getting pains because he's getting more powerful is kind of silly, even for this game.
Fenris Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Out of Curiosity do Xblaze character's drive list? What?
Zedar90 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Out of Curiosity do Xblaze character's drive list? Touya: Grimoire of Origin Mei: Blood Kain Akira: Hekatonkheires Ripper: Scissors Hands Sechs: Deadly Sign Acht: Veil Skin Union 1: Scream Jaw Union 2: Iron Shooter
Fenris Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 So I was browsing another thread when I came across an info dump of some of the terms used in XBlaze, and one thing that caught my eye was "Gain Art." If memory serves, Izayoi has a move that goes by the same name. I looked around and I couldn't find any info on this; could they somehow be connected (not necessarily story-wise, but function-wise)?

They might be connected. After all, the way a Union's crystal works is very similar to that how a Grimoire works (take in seithr, make magic). Gain Art(増幅陣, Amplification Circle) was mentioned also by Ragna in Azrael arcade end. Gain Art in Xblaze is when the Crystal of a Union starts to drain uncontrollably seithr from the air, becoming to much stress for the body and kills the Union. It can't happen natural, it's a side effect of when Sechs uses Deadly Sign on people to turn them to Unions and it fails.
Shinhwa Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Jin getting pains because he's getting more powerful is kind of silly, even for this game. I thought it might be because of Yukianesa, but doesn't really seem to be the case. It was never shown why he had felt those pains, and if I remember correctly, I don't think this was the first time it happened.
