ENDeverMORE Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I've had a weird pattern of playing and dropping games from the balzblue series for a good few year, 1st time I played it, I was a casual fighting game player, but I sold it because I beat the story. Second time, I got BB:CSE I tried to learn it but it was really difficult for me to, get a grasp on a) holding back to block. b) 2d fighters c) the air combos of this game. I eventually dropped it to focus on Soul Calibur V As time has gone, I have gotten Injustice, which has helped me greatly getting used to problems a and b. And recently seeing videos of Chrono Phantasma and the changes and the new characters. and recently I was partaking in a SCV tournament, and there was a ps3 and a copy of BB:CP, and CSE on it. which I played, a lot. The game feels considerably easier for me to use than before, and things don't feel as awkward, I had chosen Terumi as my main (THE STOMPS!!!) coming back home I look to get a copy of this game............... for xbox........................................ Terumi is really the only character I feel comfortable with, I had 'decent' B&B's i had come up with, and watching footage help me understand some of his tools, and I have no PS3. Before I tried using Lambda, but that was pre-Injustice. I might get blazblue again after playing CSE and CP, but since the new one is out I have several questions. 1) Is BB:CSE still alive online? 2) Would anyone be willing to help out a Beginner Lambda by running sets or giving tips and stuff, once/if I get CSE? 3) How would I go about getting a copy of CP if I get a ps3?

In general? Somewhat. In the UK? Probably not. =/ 2) Would anyone be willing to help out a Beginner Lambda by running sets or giving tips and stuff, once/if I get CSE? Sure, but our connection would be...sketchy, probably. 3) How would I go about getting a copy of CP if I get a ps3? Please refer to this thread: Importing 101
InWithTheAshes Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) Concerning buying a copy of CP, it is being offered as a downloadable title, so obtaining Yen cards from PlayAsia/JapanCodes is an option. It would be less costly than a physical import if you have the code emailed to you. You could also, it being a PS3 title, try splitting the price with someone you find who has interest and gamesharing the copy. As towards EU netplay, I've been trying it recently for getting a general feel for Rachel as to help when I obtain a PS3 and CP (soooooon). It's... Well, dead. There are a small amount of players who seem to appear semi - regularly, but aside from that I'd doubt you'd have much competition (also netplay sucks, but that's an entirely different topic I guess ). Also, seeing as you originate from there, I'm going to take now to advertise the EU Skype group: It's where the vast majority of the U.K. and a large portion of the other E.U. users of Dustloop are active, rather than the forums. My Skype name is the same as my forum tag, so contact me if you want to be added in. See ya around! Edited December 3, 2013 by InWithTheAshes

We should be alright if you're in central/east coast.
Celerity Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Just want to say that if you are planning on maining Terumi once you get your hands on CP, Lambda might not be the best option for you. She's pretty unique and I could see why she'd be difficult for you to adjust to. A simpler character like Ragna/Jin/Tsubaki might be a more appropriate placeholder, or even Hazama if you like his design, he's not so hard to use.

Dude, when I picked up injustice day 1 after no prior nether realm game experience or 2d fighter experience. I picked Ares, and that guy is mad hard and complex, and bottom tier etc. and I still main him to this day. I'm narrow minded (not enough to realise I'm narrow minded) I stick with that characters design I like the most, and it's hard to me to replace or pick up characters that don't interest me. I know simple characters like this teach the game to new players but personally, I'd rather stick to a character that looks awesome in combat :/ Edited December 3, 2013 by ENDeverMORE
Airk Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I am still up for games if you want. Check your PMs.
