The spoilers I've found so far say neither Nyar and Makoto show up. However, they say you fight that monster with Yu or Aigis depending on the story mode you're on so we still have the true ending.

That picture is Sho being possessed by the MC after the Great Seal is broken and the giant fire EVE is defeated. Apparently, he uses Sho to say goodbye to everyone one last time before passing on to the afterlife.

-The Malevolent Entity is not Nyarlathotep. It's Hi-no-Kagutsuchi, the antithesis of Izanami. However, I am not surprised Hi-no-Kagutsuchi is involved. If you followed the Izanagi and Izanami story, you know that after giving birth to him, Izanami was burned to death by Kagutsuchi. In retaliation, Izanagi killed him which means Yu is likely the one who canonically takes him out.

Actually, looking through the paste bins, unless I missed something, the P3MC didn't have any involvement at all with the story. Everything we heard was false information.

Really? Paste bin links apparently won't open for me but this would make things a little better. I think I'm gonna wait it out for a bit now. It is really hard to discern what is fact and lie at the moment (unless an image and context are provided).

Just to clarify on that,

 

Was it Sho or Minazuki who was the Eerie voice, or both? Also, what was Minazuki's role, and what is he to Sho? I think it's said that he comes from the Plume of Dusk, but why does he have a Persona while his host doesn't? What happens to him at the end?

I can answer that

 (At least, the second part)

 

Minazuki is a separate entity that was born out of the Plume of Dusk inserted into Sho, and only he gained a Persona due to him just being his own person I guess. Ikutsuki sought to try to bring it out of him. Though unlike Sho, Minazuki didn't really see him as a father figure, and in fact kinda didn't like him at all. Ikutsuki, wanting results and not really caring how he got them, tried erasing Minazuki while keeping the Persona. That didn't exactly work. Thus when Sho went all vegetable apparently, Ikutsuki just dropped him off in some hospital in Inaba.

 

Having been thrown away by the only person he had some sort of bond with and with meeting rejection throughout growing up, Sho decides that he doesn't care for the world as it is and would love to see all of it destroyed. Minazuki, having grown alongside Sho, devotes himself to fulfilling that wish for him and would love nothing but for him to get it. Years later after having apparently watched the Investigation Team all throughout P4, opportunity knocks on the door via Hi-no-Kagutsuchi for Sho to actually get his wish. Cue the Arena story.

 

At the end of it all though, Minazuki merges with Sho (depicted as him having the glowing blue eyes in the true ending), allowing Sho to not only have a Persona (which was Minazuki's at that), but to understand the power of bonds, since he came to know that he held a bond with Minazuki all along. And what do we get when we see a surge of strength produced via bonds? A ticket to the velvet room.   He then forges a bond with Yu through fighting, and Yu vows to make him understand his side of things through crossing blades whenever they meet, or something.

 

Of course if I'm missing anything important feel free to point it out
