Hey, could some of you guys possibly uncheck "deny slow connections"? There are lots of people in here who I see in the lobby and I want to play against, but just barely miss the requirements for a "fast connection", and it's really annoying because at around 140 ping, you still get very good speed. If someone who connects to you really does give lousy speed, you will notice pretty much as soon as you hit character select, or at the very least in the beginning of the first round. And if that happens, simply soft reset before you can be accused of dropping for win streak. ..Please? :)

it seems like im one of the few jam players there. i need to see how other people play her!

Well first I gently whisper in her ear, after than I run my hands down her sides and grab her ass gently... Oh wait... Nvm!

I think Mandraku's testa could be 1000x if he didn't do random grave diggers. :o But generally he is the one guy that kills my streak more than anyone else. x.x

GGs to Kumiho. I was surprised I did well against him at first, then he buried me. Still, learned a lot. GGs Kicks. Need more Baiken Combos. FIGHTING SPIRIT. Also good games anyone else. Also <3 Professor Kugler.

Testament must be sick online with 4 frames of standard lag. Good luck blocking against his mixups like that. I played a bit tonight and it was fun but man there are definitely a lot of abusable things with 4 frames of lag. There are also several inputs which are impossible to perform on the keyboard. Just on defense you're that much more screwed because you need to block/escape tick throws 4 frames earlier. Then again most of the players seem to just pick Slayer and mash on invinci mappa punch/6H->Pile Bunker.

To people who have the same problem as I encountered: Symptom: after upgrading to 1.06, people who use the same delay frame setting as you do are shown as "No Response" How to solve: delete ggn_setting.dat from your game folder This file doesn't do anything except store the settings you had for the previous version. Since ggxxnet_config.exe has been updated, this setting file is no longer needed. Once you delete it and run the game, a new ggn_setting.dat will be generated.

//Jais Try starting up GG and then see if it still says Timed-Out. On mine it says Timed-Out when GG isn't started but once it starts it says Open. You might also want to try to DMZ. ~Zempten

So many replies! =]

I dont use port 10000, I have had very few issues =(

Port 10000 isn't the only one I've tried. Other ports have the exact same issue.

//Jais

Great idea. I tried running the game then port checking and it timeout as usual

I am using DMZ.Picture # 3. =P

//Jais you have to map ports for both TCP and UDP, not TCP only like you did.

The Belkin router doesn't let me choose both like the Linksys did. I didn't suppose I would need UDP over TCP though. Esp in first post it specifically says to forward TCP port xxxxx to your router.

I actually took back my Linksys (wal-mart'll take ANYTHING back) b/c I could swear I had everything set right and it wasn't working. Now I have a Belkin Wireless router.

Could it be

My router is set up using DHCP?

My internet connection type is Dynamic and not PPPoe even though I have DSL?

The Belkin helpline told me ,"The IP I set on the port forwarding has to be a central server for an on-line game, This is different b/c it's P2P. So I am supposed to put my IP address in the Port Forwarding setting because it's P2P. That only makes sense to me. The Belkin help didn't understand/believe that.

I can mess with it again tonight. Thanks for all your responses so far.

PS:

Dear World,

My recycle bin is win.

Jais, I have a Belkin router as well... You have to use 2 lines to forward both TCP and UDP... (it's annoying as hell lol)
