I think it's facetious to say Blast is an overall better option than Assault. IMO the two burst types are almost perfectly balanced. But there are more units in the game that play better with Blast than Assault. It's more an issue with unit design than burst design. And there are still plenty of units that like to use both.

Most people reccomend B burst on 00Q for the longer trans-am, but I almost always get better results with A. I feel like I really need that extra melee closing speed to get in and make use of the burst. It's kind of partner dependent as well though - if my back is an offensive-type suit like banshee or xenon then I might go B burst and work with them to close down an enemy. But most of the time I just want to pop A burst and get right on top of someone before they can react, get some damage, and shoot them into the air so I can pressure their partner.

Well, it's kinda hard not to say Blast is an overall better choice when you factor in tournament results and the more neutral-based gameplay mechanics of Full Boost.  Many suits (even melee suits like Master) can make an argument for Blast just off blue fuwa'ing projectiles and the faster reloads, which are pretty much universally desired amongst most suits.  The melee buffs of Assault are much more situational, and may not help if you're up against a scary melee suit on the enemy team (i.e. an opposing Master or Epyon).

Quanta can certainly use Assault since he is a melee suit, but in general Blast is preferred for longer Trans-am AND faster Zabanya & shield bit reload, alongside more boost.  Unlike Master and other melee suits, Quanta has a standard BR, an amazing assist, and shield bits to let him close in and force approaches, so refilling these are incredibly useful, and important to getting damage against the stronger neutral suits.

Again, it is down to preference, but just from what I've seen a common method of using Blast is to use up your shield bits and Zabanya assist, burst, use Zabanya for mixup/oki opportunity, and you'll have another Zabanya and refilled Shield Bits much sooner thanks to faster reload time on Blast.  Assault can be better in the close range situation, but it can be hard to force these kinds of situations if you're up against a high-tier team with a strong neutral game.

Dynames is still better than Cherudim. Melee>CS is really fast. And the fact that you have the AC during shield mode makes a big different.

Cherudim is more of a full support MS. Just not good enough.

This is why I prefer cherudim. I'm support minded.
