So im pretty sure that you guys passed the 10 man limit.  How will we be deciding who stays in or gets put in?

Gfaqs is growing too so maybe we should make bigger teams? Lol.

I'm surprised more players here aren't joining G-FAX side for the challenge of it...

We should just have an all out war. 30 v 30 sounds good, right?

As if we could get 30 on Gfaqs.  My biggest hope there is already throwing the flag.

I didn't give up.  As far as I'm concerned, I can get a win from every single person.

I think we should just designate a captain for each side and have them set up the teams over time.

I agree with OmniSScythe but that depends on who will be team captain, especially when it comes to preparing your teams for battle come June.

ahhh these kinds of tourneys bring back memories....

of course these type of tournies were much more fun and exciting back in the day but nostalgia...

Seems like I'll have to start hyperbolic time chamber training sessions for Gfaqs.  Not going down without trying.

have one of them learn koko secretly and beat ass the day of. we may have to sacifice two or three people just to beat that one person.

B-but that's fighting dirty. Pride's like the one thing we've got right now. That and abad_lime apparently.

June 6th huh?  I'll actually be off work by then, so I'd be able to participate.  This will be a fun experiment.

I've been playing since a little after CP came out in the US, and by playing I mean occasionally during lunch breaks with my co-workers for 20-30 minutes.  I've probably put a grand total of 3 hours of play time into this game.  I play Izayoi, who I've heard sucks (though it looks like the patch is going to really help her out).

There's a little over a month to get good at this game.  I think that's doable since I main I-No in GG (everything else feels easy now).  I've been playing fighting games competitively for...  damn, like almost 10 years now (started with Smash tournaments in high school).  I think it wont be too hard... at this point I really only need to learn what the other characters do and learn matchups.  Controlling Izayoi was tricky at first but she's not bad at all.

So... stick me in a "maybe" list.  It looks like you have 10+ already, but just in case they decide to bump it up to a 15v15 or something, or just in case I wind up better than someone else, I want you to know that I'm down to participate and I should be free (E3 is the following week, and I'll be done with work a week prior, so I'll be able to schedule around this event).  Not sure if my connection is that great, though I think it's currently set as NAT-type 2 or 3, which is really restrictive.  It should be a lot better once I correct that.

What's the format?  The usual best of 3?

I have not decided the full rules yet the only thing I set in stone is that the matches will be best 2 of 3. As for the format I have not decided yet
